And I found her most annoying. She spoke in such a sing-songy fashion that sounded like she was talking to 4 year olds. I know the Cruise Director has to be upbeat but don't insult my intelligence. I'm still an adult.

Just off the Apex on Saturday. It was definitely MUCH more crowded than our other cruises since the pause. But it never affected our cruise experience. Main pool was PACKED on the sea days. But we don’t hang at the main pool. Walking around, you definitely noticed a lot of people but once we got to our destination, it wasn’t crowded. Not sure where all these people were going but they weren’t doing the same things as me. Eden, Craft Social, specialty restaurants for lunch, even the martini bar weren’t that busy.

The music groups in the Grand Plaza varied and there is a small dance floor. Some people with more formal dancing (ballroom?) were cutting a rug one night.

How are the retreat hosts? With this being the hubbys 60th, I have a few requests for them. Not much. Any pointers for me to enjoy my cruise on the Apex for the first time? Checked into our flight and checked out of work! We are ready!

Hey Gary! Don’t damage the ship too much. Try to leave it in good health for when we take over on the 25th! Interested in the boarding process since I’ll be herding a pack of 9 cats with me! Once I get them on the ship, they are Celebrity’s responsibility! 🤪 Just watched the ship come in on the Port Everglades webcam. Can’t wait!!

My nephew was about the same distance away from 3 years and was not allowed. It is definitely a strict cutoff and not “around 3” type of thing.

I think you can only book for the entire cruise.

We were in a suite on the Sky and it wasn't part of the suite benefits for some reason. I think it's only on certain ships.

On the Sky we booked it ahead of time. It was cheaper to book before you get on the ship.

How crowded is the retreat sun deck? Not as interested in the loungers in the sun but more thinking about the couch areas? What about the pool?

Private car services sometimes will have a child car seat. But, I’m sorry, if you are traveling with a 1 year old you have to expect to supply your own car seat. Use a car service and know what you are getting.

You mentioned that boarding was pretty fast. Do suites (Sky suites) have their own “line” in FLL to board or do we not need it? I’ll be “herding cats” (9 people) at embarkation and want to mentally prepare.

Yeah, that’s what we did. Enjoy the boat and on land, walk around town.

This whole “smaller ships goes to ports the big ship can’t go to” is crap. There is nothing to do in these ports. The catamaran trips are the same company in every port and they suck. Stay on the ship, enjoy the relaxation, quiet time and self reflection. The excursion aren’t very exiting and most people come back saying they would have rather stayed on the ship or explore don’t their own. This cruise line is all about the ship and the sails.

With 17636 already booked, I’m loving the the suite retreat. Now on to the “Coming Soon” space on our floor! Loving the fully new ship and the anticipation of new things!
