Experienced the same thing! But the balcony divider on the other side of us (we were in three side by side cabins) covered our window (not door). REALLY bad design. So I am not 100% sure which way the balcony divide "swings". You might not get an answer before you sail and will have to live with it.

In these times I think people are becoming more sensitive to other peoples health conditions. I would think it’s none of my business if someone is wearing headphones in a venue with loud music. A bit optimistic but moving in the right direction I hope.

Oh I totally agree with you. I didn't expect our friend to sit with us in the Reserve section. That's why we went to the other line the very first day. We told THEM that we couldn't sit there because of our friend. Princess suite benefits are a joke. That's why we don't mind sailing in a suite with friends not in suites on Princess ships. On Celebrity, our friends must book a suite or we tell them we won't see them most of the cruise! 🙂

Do you know who can access that deck from the spa for sail away in FLL? Is it for people that book the thermal suite or are in Aqua class? The retreat sun deck attendant made it clear we were NOT allowed down there.

Just got off the Sky and while we were in a Suite our one friend was not. We went to dinner around 8pm and there hardly anyone in the reserve section and no one came in after us. Reserve section and regular dinning room check in was the same place. When we walked up they were ready to seat us in the Reserve Collection area until we told them we had one companion not in a suite. The suite host turned around immediately and pointed us to the "regular" line (we were the only ones in line.) In fact they referred to us as "Sweet, Sweet, Sour" and were told until we get rid of "Sour" we were to eat in the main part. We laughed but it did come across as a little rude. We never expected to sit there and were the ones that told THEM. I still don't understand why they wouldn't let us sit there as there were plenty of tables and not one person sat down after us but I get it. Again I didn't expect to sit there. We even had the same waiter as the Reserve section as he was working both. (and he wasn't that great!). But to the person asking about a window seat, at least on our cruise it would not have been a problem to get a window seat every evening at time of night.

I take that back! The deck plans don't show an open deck but I remember one from sail away. And if I look at pictures there is something there. During sail away we were in the retreat and asked if we could go down there. They said no. But there were people there so I'm not sure who has access to that. It's above the Iconic Suite cabin and not part of their balcony. Can someone else answer?

Are you talking about the open deck on top of the bridge? Then doghog is right. That open deck doesn't exist on E-class ships. The gym itself goes out over the bridge. There's no access because there is no outdoor deck.

I never understand why they put the HR director in with all these officers? Is the person on the ship? Isn't that Corporate?

We were saying the exact same thing before the fire!! I didn't realize you were in a damaged cabin. We were Starboard aft and as far from the fire as you could get.

They call you something like 2 weeks before but they don't leave a message. And they don't call back. So if you they don't get you the first time I guess you are out of luck. We raised it to our Cruise Vacation Planner the week of our cruise and she was able to get us added to the list 2 days before the cruise (the day before we were flying out).

We had folks who HATED the cruise because the Sky doesn't have Crooners. I know people love Crooners, but 1) do you your homework on the ship you are booking and 2) there are other places to enjoy music, cocktails and fun! There were a few things that we were a little annoyed by too, but we had a wonderful relaxing week. It's up to YOU to decide if you are having a good time. I read once that the only person that can make you mad is yourself. It's how you deal with a situation that makes the difference.

If you have been there multiple times, let them know. They will bring out a sign with the number, bang the drums and give you a shot! We are on visit #12.

Yes, that is what everything is saying and I expect to be in the Signature restaurant. So I am not sure why the app currently says I am in the "Reserve Collection". Asking if other folks in suites also say that or they specifically say "Signature Restaurant". Too early to be concerned but another reason why I am keeping an eye on Princess' new level of "service".

I just notice something when I tried to book Love. It says that I have a standing reservation in "The Reserve Collection Experience". But we are in a penthouse suite and should be in the Signature Restaurant. Is this Reserve Collection an umbrella name for the restaurants that aren't the main dinning room? Do other suite guests see the same thing?

They started that a little while ago. I have never used it. I'd be interested in this as well. Maybe open that up as a new thread and see if people have used it.

Yup. Got the same thing. In a suite and choosing first day. Just as I thought, I think they took it away. Anyone that got in there before they caught it are the lucky ones! 🙂

The Sun reservations are back. How were you able to book Love? I can't find it. I have a feeling they took it away.
