Yes, it was after the Hurricanes, the storm took the roof partially off the Police Station. Yes, it was a private charter from St Thomas. We were gone from 10 to about 4:30. We went swimming but it was mainly drinks and food for us.

@Momof3gurlz I'm sorry you had some bad experiences on NCL but that there were some that helped to make up for it. Just you talking of your trip to Jost shows how many of us loved our time there and can't wait to get back. With all this talk it might be the time to share our trip there.

So many jokes I could make on this comment… After my first round of Covid in April 2022 I had a lot of malaise for a period of time but no other lingering effects. A few weeks though, nothing like your experience. My second time with it was a walk in the park. The head cold I’ve had for the last 10 days has been substantially worse than my round two. Like you, we didn’t see lessened service over NYE 2022/243 than our 8 Star sailings pre Covid. We sail in March and I don’t expect anything to be different than either.

I have to say with age my feelings about snow have declined. As for the blowing, that’s tomorrow’s job. I’ll be sending it 60-80 feet, but I’d prefer to send it to April or May. The snow squall advisories have finally ended, after 14 plus hours but the cold is here for another 24 hours. For me it’s enough, as my mom says it’s gotten a bit cold. Boo to her I say. 😂

She’s good. Don’t let those eyes fool you, she’s a killer. We went out after supper and visited with her in the barn. We took her cat treats, fluffed her bed, made sure her heated water bowl was full and topped up her food dish. She also accepted many pets as well, before she started to bite our gloves.

She might be happy the construction is over.

I bet many of you, like us have had a temperature drop. The actual temp at 10:30am was -19C or -2F. It has snowed here all day and is even colder now. Tonight it will be -1F and feel like -13F. I went to get take out and the roads were not the best. is this a paved 2 lane road with full shoulders. It was a 2 stop take out. Pizza and Thai food for me. I had more than enough time to stop on Main Street to get this photo.

@brillohead at the end of your story I was waiting for you to say that your sea pass wouldn’t unlock your cabin door. 🤦‍♂️ You deserve a medal of saint hood.
