  1. Say, I do have a question for you, or for anyone who lives in your area. The house we rented, for our Christmas / New Year get away this year is up in Pompano Beach. We will have now stayed several places between here and Hollywood, but this is the farthest north. Do you have any restaurant recommendations up that way? We are always looking for new places to try, but we still like them to be kid friendly, since our grandkids will be with us. We typically have breakfast and lunch at the house, but like to take everyone out to dinner. I know the kids will want Bubba Gumps one night, Rustic Inn Crabhouse, and probably Benihana for NYE. Thanks for any recommendations you may have.
  2. I may just have to take a measuring beaker along in December, and run some scientific tests.
  3. I was thinking the same thing. I looked at my Kraken Colada photo from last year, and it did appear larger. Of course, different bar, different style glass and different ship, but this is concerning.
  4. Filets for dinner last night. I think this is the first red meat I have had in the last nine weeks, since I started eating a healthy diet. We picked up the grandkids after school, because SIL had taken our daughter to her appointment at Cleveland Clinic. Filets seem to be their favorite meal, and our grandson always manages to eat a couple of them. Then it was game time. The only type of Monopoly I will intentionally play.
  5. We got a break in our rain yesterday, and I was able to log a few miles. I swear the deer are almost tame here. This one was about six feet from me on the trail when we stopped and looked at each other. When I held out my hand, it started walking toward me until it saw there was no food in my hand. I think they are being fed.
  6. It wasn’t an email. It was a letter in their cabin. They sailed today. Fingers crossed it won’t be done on your sailing.
  7. Will be interested to see if you get the dreaded “No D’s in the Crown lounge for HH” letter. I see they had that for the Jewel sailing today.
  8. I think the Polynesian / Tiki places were popular in the 70’s and 80’s. In the mid to late 70’s, I was traveling to Hawaii and touring the islands every other year (75, 77, 79), and got hooked on those elaborate shows. I think Hawaii 5-0, and later, Magnum, peaked many people’s interest. And when you think of Pittsburgh, what comes to mind? Polynesian shows, of course! They use to have a place in Monroeville called the Mauna Loa that did dinner and a Polynesian show, complete with Tiki mugs. I would go there to get my fix between Hawaii trips. I hope they get the Mai Kai open before your next trip.
  9. I will be interested in how your air tags work once you drop your bags at the pier. I have read an account of someone trying to locate their bag, and it still said it was at the pier after they sailed. I think it had something to do with all the metal in the ship impacting location services. I think they did eventually get their bag. Ours have worked good for flights, but never sailed with them yet.
  10. I think she must be my one sister-in-law. Fifteen outfits for an overnight, because she isn’t sure what she will want to wear.
  11. Wow, four pieces of luggage! Remind me again how many weeks your cruise is. 😁
  12. I tell you, I have a serious case of cruise envy today, after seeing these lovely cruise pictures, and Greg’s LIVE starting. Don’t know if I can wait the 59 days till mine. Meanwhile, my deer picture of the day from my afternoon walk
  13. Oh, Greg! If I did that ( not the plastic, but the hangers), I would get this reaction.
  14. Looks like more Anniversary wishes are in order. Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Dave. Don’t let @Sea Dog lead you astray.
  15. Have a great cruise. I will be following along. I have looked at those cruises that either end up in, or start from Quebec City, but we have yet to book one. We met a couple on a cruise, several years ago, and they lived in Quebec City. That looks like a great port.
  16. Sounds very nice. Enjoy. We have boated by it, when my parents lived on Pine Island. Most of the time, when we were out, we would end up at Captiva.
  17. If it was on FB, then it must be true. 😂😂
  18. Good to see a post from you Dani. Prayers are still being sent your way from our house. Our church has had special prayers for Israel these past two Sundays.
