  1. No, the Princess website is just as perfect as it ever was. And we all know how perfect that is. 😂
  2. I'm glad you were able to do the swap. We boarded the Sky yesterday and were told that was discontinued. Boo! Hiss!
  3. I have a sneaking suspicion that Princess picked a price they wanted to charge and then threw some random stuff on it to get people to buy.
  4. I didn't see prices either. I doubt we'll buy it. I hate giving up the mini bar swap
  5. It's below the packages. Go to the links in the home page footer. Click beverage packages. Scroll down and find coffee package. There's a link to details or learn more or similar. Click that to launch a pop up. That's where this came from.
  6. Unless I'm reading this wrong, and I don't think am, the Elite mini bar swap is gone. I'm angry. New Grounds Coffee Package Terms & Conditions What is Included The package includes the pre-purchase of a specified number of specialty coffees (numbers vary by itinerary) during the voyage of purchase, as well as complimentary brewed coffee and hot chocolate. Guests may redeem the number of specialty coffees purchased in the package in locations where espresso is available. This will include select bar and dining areas and varies by ship and/or itinerary. Selections and service are limited to that venue’s menu offerings and operating hours. Package Details and Qualifications The package may be pre-purchased up to 4 days prior to boarding the vessel. The package is NOT available for pre-purchase within 3 days of sailing. The coffee package is valid only on the voyage for which it is purchased. If the maximum number of coffees pre-purchased are not used during the voyage, the remaining value will NOT be credited or refunded and is NOT transferable for any purpose. Coffee packages cannot be sold or otherwise transferred to any individual. Pre-purchased specialty coffees may be shared, but complimentary brewed coffee, teas and hot chocolate continue to be limited to the purchaser. Exclusions and Limitations Does NOT apply to bottled or ready to drink items such as canned coffee items etc. CANNOT be redeemed when ordering Room Service or for Mini Bar items. Terms and Conditions Princess Cruises may modify, amend or update these terms and conditions of our beverage packages / offers at any time with or without notice to guests. The terms and conditions as published on princess.com on the date of sailing will apply, in addition to the terms and conditions of the passage contract. Not all exclusions or limitations can be foreseen or published here and may exist or be implemented with or without notice. Pricing is subject to change without notice, and for vessels designated in a foreign currency (Australia as an example), packages purchased in advance may vary from onboard pricing due to timing and currency fluctuations. Guests will NOT incur additional charges, nor be issued any credits or refunds for such currency variances. By purchasing a coffee package, you agree to these and all future terms and conditions.
  7. I recommend the walking/jogging track on Sports deck. It goes all the way around the top of the ship, so you can get different views. It is, however, completely uncovered. Depending on the weather, that might be a deal-breaker.
  8. I don't know if they still do it or not, but bringing a full carafe and leaving it used to be standard practice on Norwegian. That was really nice.
  9. We sailed out of SF twice since the restart. Both times, there was a line outside the building, but both times once we got inside we pretty much walked onto the ship. One time we had a suite, so priority on that. The other time we were Elite so priority there. I'm assuming you're in the green lane.
  10. I look forward to any additional info you can get from the CC Host. I'm going to be soooo ticked if that trading for coffee packages goes away. It does still show as an option in the membership FAQs on their site, but I think their website is the last place to get updated on changes.
  11. I find that odd that it would make any difference at all how may cruises you've done with Princess. I know that final payment must be made before dining can be booked in the app for some loyalty levels, but you're obviously way past final payment. Given that you've booked a suite, I'm pretty sure they'll fit you in just fine after you get on the ship, but I would follow up with that quickly if I were you to get an acceptable time.
  12. I hear they have some pretty nice broom closets for assigning at the last minute. 😂
  13. You sure can! It's capuccinos for us, but espressos or lattes work too.
  14. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I'm fighting the battle too, with my left hip. I got a cortisone injection into that joint a couple of months back, and it's gone from agonizing to just sore all the time. Sore all the time, I can deal with. I'm thinking I'll do one more injection and then go for surgery. When I was getting the injection, I was gabbing with the guy who was assisting. He said he's had replacements in both knees and that worked out for him very well. He said I might or might not want to get the replacement done in the near future. I said that I was trying to balance not rushing into things with not putting it off until I get too old to recover completely (I'm 72). He said that was a very valid point and that he agreed it would be a mistake to put it off until then. Food for thought?
  15. I'm not going to argue that average cruise prices on Princess haven't increased, but I will say that we have two booked for 2024 at prices that, all things considered, are pretty much the same as last year and this year.
  16. Hard to say. Skagway is on our schedule for September of this year, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they sub in Icy Straight Point for it. That's what they did on our August sailing last year, and we really liked Icy Straight Point. I'd be happy to go back there again.
  17. If the update is installed and you dump the application cache, then I'm pretty sure the changes would show up.
  18. No, we've never not been able to go there. Glacier Bay is big, so I think ships can always manage it no matter what the ice situation is in the water.
  19. Not cool. I don't buy the packages, so I'm not up on these things. They don't make financial sense for us, and even less so with this additional information.
  20. I miss the little round custard or jam filled donuts. Last several cruises, we've seen ring donuts but not those little round ones.
  21. That is totally bizarre about the Diet Coke! It's one thing if they just don't have it, although they should. But another thing if they do have it but make you pay extra for it when you have the drink package. I'd fight that one until the cows come home. Ridiculous.
  22. That's me! Totally magical. 😃
  23. This is good advice. For some reason, my hubby's return airport didn't want to stick. Also, make sure you've added everybody to a credit card for payment. That's another one that didn't want to stick.
  24. My favorite one ever was a train/snow shoe hike we did in Skagway. We took the train partway up then got off, put on snow shoes and hiked up to a glacier overlook. It was warm, the snow was soft and melty, and I fell down about a gazillion times. Wouldn't and couldn't do that these days, but it was a real highlight of that trip.
  25. Can't be that, since we're all seeing the same thing and this thread started an hour ago. I'm also seeing a rectangle with an X filling the inside of it before the 035. Possible coding/debugging note that shouldn't be viewable to members?
