Chilli, we had non working fridge, air con that hardly cooled down and the noisiest cabin ever on Brilliance. Trolleys being wheeled overhead from about 4am. They didn't even question our complaints, just gave us 25% off next cruise. I would have been happy for them to fix the issues for the next guests, cabin was very unclean, we found tablets under bed. There was glitter over the floor which was never vaccumed up.

Oh yes, just walk off.....too easy. We hang about depending on flight times etc. And just to add, our cruise earlier this year from Brisbane on Luminosa, a taxi van charged us $60 per couple, we jumped in with another couple to share the cost, but nope, he got $120 for that ride.

We always choose self disembark ( don't put your bags out the night before) and get off when we want. We have done this on Carnival, P&O and Royal this year, works good for us. We can easily wheel our medium size cases and a back pack off. I will never put my luggage out again haha.....oh maybe a world cruise, but can't see that happening!

I know, I was surprised. It is shared, not private, I put the time of our flight in, it gave a suggested pick up time, but we were able to select an earlier one as we have Qantas lounge passes to use. Our flight is at 1pm. We will get the free Skygate bus from Domestic to Novotel the day before, then the next morning will have to taxi it to the port, will see what that costs!!

We just booked with Con x ion as per Mic above. Port to Domestic airport $40 for two of us ($20 each) You pick a pick up time and they give you instructions where to meet etc, very easy.

We did Sarah, put a hold on Japan to Singapore as like the Japanese ports, and we love Vietnam and Hong Kong. We just have to suck it up and fly a bit as don't have enough leave during the year for all the seas days. Already done Beijing to Alaska and few repositionings from Singapore, with another next year. Got a hold on a obstructed balcony, had the deluxe obstructed on Majestic but don't need the sofa, plus they have blocked all the deluxe obstructed unless you book for 3 persons. There are some very large balconies with no obstruction, unless looking down 😉 Haven't done Princess since 2020 Ruby/ Majestic saga!!

Our Celebrity cruise has $65AUD drink package, but Royals is $106AUD.

An update to mine, it had been sitting there for 3 days "in progress".....so I applied again, same cruise and an hour later received a new updated booking from Carnival with $100 OBC added. Went back into the App and they are both sitting there "In progress". Also to note, when putting the date in for the cruise, 02/18.....it kept reverting to 02/17, (USA date) I had to go with that, but the confirmation Stockperks sent sent says 02/18.

Hey you know all my secret spots!! When we did the 15 night repositioning back in 2019 that area on deck 12 forward had lots of chairs and lounges but noticed not as many lounges when we were onboard in June. As well as the forward decks on 6 and 7, there is also one on deck 10, we had booked an inside spa cabin and used that deck lots for morning coffees, and sail ins, only ever saw another couple there and its huge, plus we had the secret lift up to the spa, so good. Yes Splendor is gawdy and clunky but we love the vibe, loads of food choices, so many lounges and outdoor areas, we can overlook the Pink!! We have been on Spirit, Splendor and Luminosa and have enjoyed them all.

Be so great if we get Voyager, I cant see it anywhere else but the stop in Darwin and Brisbane spots.

Grand Princess, 16th Oct 2025, board in Sydney or Brisbane. They have also split it, so you can do to Hawaii or return. Great for those of us that don't have the time to do 35/37 nights. We did Sydney to Hawaii in 2010 on the dawn Princess and I don't think they have offered it since.

Enjoy your cruise Julie and Rolf, enjoying your posts. We cruised on Diamond through Japan to Alaska, a few years ago. Boarded in Beijing and disembarked in Vancouver, best cruise ever. Beijing to Alaska, loads of Japanese, then Alaska to Vancouver all US passengers. It was like two totally different cruises.

Thanks to everyone for all the info on Con X transfers, we have another cruise from BICT in February. Last cruise from there we stayed at Kingsford Smith Motel and got a free transfer to the ship, I believe they do not offer that anymore. On disembarkation we grabbed a maxi taxi with another couple to the airport and were charged $60 per couple, they know how to charge!! This time we are staying at the Airport Novotel the night before, so will need a transfer to ship then when we disembark back to airport, so will try Con X. I don't mind the sail away from Brisbane, its a change and nice scenery between the islands. We pay $38 for the two of us to train it from Sydney airport to Circular Quay, then walk to our hotel, so another $20 isn't breaking the bank.......and our cruises are so much cheaper from Brisbane😁

Hey guys...just departing Hobart, CD just announced 5 metre swells tonight around the time of show so may be cancelled. Captain is going to hug land to reduce impact but that means no casino till later. Gamblers won't be happy as they have been without for 2 days re overnight Hobart. Wish us luck....calm now cruising out the river with the sun setting, lovely view in Colony Club aft.

Haven't heard but will try and find out for you.

For Chilli...there is a veterans get together 9am day 6 King and Country pub. Also, coffee good for me, I have long black. Bar/coffee port side outside buffet so tried there. Now at Lattitudes and good, not strong and bitter like some. Also kettles in rooms, been a while since we cruised Royal and can't remember if they took them away for Oz but we have one.

Haha already bumped them at Majority rules....of all places. Didn't help to win Josh a prize this time. Just docked at Eden and just been cleared.
