  1. My DH was never able to find any at the buffet couple of weeks ago on the Bahamas Florida cruise.
  2. You can ignore the per person plans and focus on the number of devices you will be using. For example DH and I would be using a total of three devices. So we would book a one person three device plan. Search WiFi and you will see what others have tried to get around the per device issue like setting up hotspots etc.
  3. Just to clarify, a US citizen cannot bring medications back into the US that require a prescription here even if the meds were purchased OTC in the other country. Also some foreign countries have strict limits on OTC meds. For instance, your Sudafed is a huge no no in Japan. The way you have your meds stored on the ship is not an issue. Port security doesn't care if you use a pill organizer. But, airport security may be an issue. Closed loop American cruises should pose no problems with using a pill organizer. Even if you fly in from another state, TSA doesn't care. It's still a good idea to keep narcotics in their original bottles. Also a good idea in general, not just for travel, is to have photos on your phone of all your prescription med bottles.
  4. The Broadway song show is in the Broadway theater. Carousel lounge alternates between the rock show and the Houdini show. Since all the evenings shows (Broadway and carousel) are at the same times, you will have to see more than one show in a night if you want to see them all. I cannot help you with the specific days as I did the eight day, and don't have the schedules for that anymore anyway. I do know that the carousel lounge did not offer a show every night. There is a TV screen outside that venue that shows the whole schedule for your cruise. We found the first two days of broadway theatre shows in the app on day one. They seemed to add one more day each day allowing reservations.
  5. We got our offer before we checked in but after final payment. Make sure your MSC profile is checked off to allow third party emails.
  6. The carousel lounge shows were at 8 and 10 with doors opening at 7:30 and 9:30 respectively. The regular shows in the Broadway theater were at 7:30 and 9:30.
  7. Chis Clarke is the opener for both the rock show and Houdini show in the carousel lounge and plays from when the doors open till the show starts. So getting there at the door open time is worth it.
  8. The onboard price is higher. They advertise the preboard price as "save up to 85%" from buying the package on board. Thinking about that amount, I may be wrong in my memory of the percent, but it was definitely a significant savings.
  9. We returned from the eight day Meraviglia a week ago. We had browse and stream and had few if any issues. We streamed YouTube and Paramount+ and had no problem with YouTube and only occasionally getting an error message with paramount+ that required reloading the page.
  10. Nope. On ships that have the A/C shut off with the balcony open, just the cabin that has the balcony door open has the A/C automatically stopped. That function is to keep that cabin from affecting all the other cabins who share it's A/C system.
  11. In a real emergency you may need to find your station without elevator access. That being said, if you have a medical reason to not be able to do the stairs, tell a staff member, and they should be able to accommodate you (just like they would need to in a real emergency).
  12. Looks cute that color. Don't fuss over it anymore and stress yourself.
  13. Complimentary gift, a drawstring type backpack bag was left for each of us in our cabin on final night of last weeks Meraviglia cruise. Call the spa first to make sure they can accommodate you. Best bet is on a port day. The thermal area is way to small for the amount of people allowed to access it. There is one rectangular hot tub, a variety of cool showers, saunas and "Mediterranean style baths and a SMALL thalassotherapy pool. That fits only six people and is the kind with only the metal rod style loungers. There are only four heated stone lounges (one was out of order). For some reason there are two rooms with a bunch or regular loungers with spa type music in the background.
  14. Also tried Holas due to you raving about it, and totally agree. BTW, we took out our meal and enjoyed it in our cabin. Also took out fish and chips from the pub. Nice to know takeout is an option.
  15. What Jamielogical said, but as an aside, the scent of the soap, shampoo and shower gel are all MSC's signature scent, Med for MSC. When you are browsing the shops take a moment to smell the tester bottle, and from then on, you will notice EVERYTHING smells like it. The public areas, the elevators, the "smoke" in any production shows, the air blowing from the fans drying the hallways near the pool....all MSC for Med, and currently my living room too, as DH insisted on buying the reed diffuser.

The couple seated next to us in the MDR actually had to show the waiter a picture of a seagrams 7 and 7 on the web. Wine was never a problem.
  17. We smelled it every day from our standard balcony on Meraviglia last week. I was actually comforted by the stench, knowing that the violent coughing we heard was most likely due to that and not covid. 🙃
  18. I think most travel insurance requires you to go through their claims process, meaning you have to lay out the money. If you use a cruise ships medical services that is the case. If you use medical services in a foreign country (off the ship) they may accept your insurance plan as payment but there is no guarantee of that. If your regular health insurance covers care out of the country, I would hope they would help figure out the payment issue. Obviously if you needed care out of the country you would need to call your insurance company, and trip insurance company. If the trip insurance requires you to submit to your med insurance before filing the trip insurance claim depends on your trip insurance policy. We always buy a trip insurance policy that is primary.
  19. Any travel insurance I have purchased in my more than 30 cruises has covered medical evacuation. That is not at all trip disruption. The real important point to buying travel insurance is the medical benefits. The couple of thousand for the actual trip is nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands medical bills and evacuation can cost.
  20. On Meraviglia now. The classics section is basically the same as it was minus the strip steak. However, strip steak was offered as a regular entree two nights in a row. The chicken classic is still the rotisserie kind. The shrimp cocktail is now "baby" shrimp.
  21. On eight day Meraviglia now. We had elegant night on first sea day and suggested dress on the daily was elegant. Some dressed up, no gowns or tuxes and few suits/ties. The cruise website says do your definition of elegant even if its your best jeans. Just no shorts or tees. Tonight was the gala menu. But the daily said the theme was music night and had no suggested dress listed.
  22. The glass is considered contaminated once it is used to refill your water bottle as there is a chance it came in direct contact with your water bottle during the pour or that there was some splash back from your bottle. Hence the requirement of using a new glass each time you pour into your bottle.
  23. There is a "G & T Club" menu with five different gin and tonics here if you scroll a bit. https://profcruise.com/msc-bar-menus-and-drink-prices-2023/
  24. Maybe if the cruise lines would put some sort of liner in the bathroom trash bin, people would be more comfortable throwing nasty used wipes in them than flushing them.
  25. Have you tried searching eBay?
