  1. I have uploaded photos in the past and, apparently, they did not meet RCI's standards so they took our photos at the pier. I no longer bother uploading them ahead of time, I just have them taken at the pier.
  2. I'm another one of those people that always carries a small pocketknife. When we fly, I put it in my checked luggage. When we cruise, I give it to my wife and she puts it in her purse. With all the other "stuff" she has in her purse, security has never noticed (or cared about) my tiny pocketknife.
  3. Yes, as davekathy mentioned it is a 24 consecutive hour period. If you start it at 2:00 pm on one day, it goes until 1:59 the next day. The free day is per person so if you have 2 Diamond members, you could stretch the perk out over 4 days.
  4. I'm sure you'll find at least 5 or 6 other people that still want to look nice on formal night.
  5. Do you have the Royal Caribbean app on your phone? You can look at the current sailing and find all of the information you are looking for; shows, entertainment, daily activities etc.
  6. You are looking for a post Covid experience so here is my personal post Covid experience. We had multiple people that booked in the "wrong" cabins for various reasons. Once on board we went to Guest Services. We told them who would be staying in which staterooms and what credit card should be used to pay their on board expenses. The issued everyone new SeaPass cards for the correct room and correct expense account.
  7. We will be cruising with friends next week. Our reservations are linked. I did my check-in when it opened up at 45 days out. He checked in last week. He could not see their Set Sail Passes on the app or on line. I checked and I could see theirs on both my app and on line.
  8. It's very simple. You go to Guest Services and tell them who will be staying in each cabin. They will issue new cards that correspond to the room everyone is staying in and the on-board expense account for that individual. We have done this multiple times.
  9. You can opt out of them in the profile section of your C&A account.
  10. We sailed out of San Juan many times. We've done all of the touristy things. We just want to get on the ship, grab a drink by the pool and start our vacation. 🍹
  11. Each Diamond member, regardless of what cabin you are in, will receive one day of free internet. That means your family of 4 will receive a total of 4 free days.
  12. I'm probably wrong but I thought if the cruise was comped (meaning you didn't pay for it) you didn't receive ANY points.
  13. My wife's birthday is on March 17th. We usually try to plan our cruises to coincide with her birthday which means we are on a ship quite often on St. Patrick's Day. RCI does a great job decorating for St. Patrick's Day. There are shamrocks everywhere. MANY people seem to bring green clothes with them on the cruise to be in the festive mode.
  14. How far out is the cruise? Are you able to see your e-docs yet? If you can see your e-docs, scroll down a few pages and your Travel Summary, with times in port, will be there.
  15. I guess I'm confused. If you have your calendar, you have your itinerary. Are you looking the hours that the ship will be in each port?
  16. Ditto. We use the VCL for a pre-dinner cocktail most nights. It is usually very quiet and not very crowded.
  17. When you first log into your account, you will see your cruise listed. On the left side is the itinerary. If that's no help, Click on "Plan My Cruise. In the top, right corner of the cruise planner page is a calendar icon. Click on that and it will give you your itinerary. You can also click on the Shore Excursions tab then click on All Days And Ports.
  18. The "hall" you see behind those interior cabins is probably a utility chase for water, electric etc.
  19. Umm, I hope you're not too disappointed if you don't visit Turks and Caicos. I can see how you might be confused but your cruises are most likely going to Trinidad and Tobago.
  20. Perfect! This fits with what we want to do. We are supposed to check out of our hotel at 11:00. We have cruised out of San Juan many times. We usually arrive at the pier around 11:00 and are on the ship by 11:30. We're hoping that we can do that this time also.
  21. The bottles are full, they're just small. They are .375L as opposed to the more common .750L.
  22. We'll be boarding Voyager in two weeks in San Juan. We have cruise out of San Juan many times and in our experience, check-in usually starts around 11:00 with boarding starting around 11:15 - 11:30. I realize there are many variables that can affect these times. I'm wondering what people are experiencing recently. We have a 12:00 check-in time but we're wondering if they are starting to check in prior to that.
  23. 7620 is a great cabin for views. It's on the center of the hump so it allows you to look all the way forward and all the way aft without any obstructions. There will be a coffee table in your cabin but it is not as tall as a dining table. You'll have to sit on the couch or desk chair and lean over to eat your meal.
