Floats are not allowed in the pool on Coco Cay, though we saw two babies in fairly large floats with sun shades in the pool when we were there in May.

Look at your local stores for inflatable pool noodles. We got some years ago on a CVS end of summer clearance sale for 25 cents. Takes no time for my DH to blow up two of them and then we just squish them and roll them up to get the air out. The two noodles we bring fit easily in a quart sized ziploc bag.

I am sorry your Mom wasn't able to go, but I was very surprised that the Doctor had originally said she could. I hope you all can do another cruise to Alaska next year or sometime soon, once your Mom is completely healed. 🙂

Jazz on 4 has been converted to a non smoking casino on Oasis. Don't think any of the DL have been converted to non smoking casino. Oasis did still have the non smoking area in the main casino.

We did a land tour prior to our one way southbound cruise and that is how I would do it again. The cruise tours are long days starting before 7am for luggage pull and ending late if you add optional excursions. We finished our rafting excursion at 10pm and it was still light outside. You also get the longest flight out of the way if you do a southbound cruise. I wouldn’t have wanted to be flying home from Anchorage after a long two week vacation. As far as prices, it is likely higher because it is more popular.

We fly first as much as possible too. My DH tries to only fly one airline for all his business travel and we save all his miles for long haul, first class flights. We also have an airline credit card for a different airline and use those miles for shorter flights. It comes down to priorities, first class flights are more important to us than other things, so we make it happen.

Yes, you can leave them at your chairs. I would put the between the chairs or under them a bit so no one runs off with them. We bring inflatable pool noodles which my DH blows up when we get to the beach. We have left them on our lounge chairs and gone for food in the past but we usually but them under our towels so they don't get taken or blow away.

The rain and non-stop tornado warnings/watches have been going all day long! My DH has been trying to fly out of BOS all day. His last shot at getting out of there is American in about an hour. He sat on a plane for almost three hours before they had to go back to the gate because they had been out on the taxiway for too long. Deplaned and didn't reboard as he wasn't going to make his connection. Decided he was going to drive but then his TA finally picked up after a two hour hold and he got on a flight. Of course, he was already in the Ted Williams tunnel, so he had to loop back to the airport and is back waiting. If this flight doesn't go, he is coming home. His 8am meeting isn't looking too good right now.

Make sure your ship is actually coming into Terminal 1. Royal Caribbean uses multiple terminals at that port.

That date is when you can check in and pick your arrival time. It is not when reservations are available to book for shows.

You won't see the shows in the app until they are available to reserve. Once they are available in the app, you will see the shows listed by name, like the aqua show on Oasis is called Aqua80. Right now, you can just see the venues. When the shows are available, book the comedy club and the aqua show first as they fill up quickly. Keep an eye on your rollcall as someone usually posts when shows are available.

There is a lot of discussion about him and the finale on Instagram and people are very vocal, calling out production for airing this finale. Many feel, just as those do here, that the whole discussion was inappropriate and should have been left on the cutting room floor. Not sure if Bravo is listening or not though.

Oasis is sailing from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ for the summer. There is a garage right beside the terminal but because there are more ships in Cape Liberty for the summer, the garage is designated accessible parking only. There are open air lots that your daughter will be directed to park. One is directly across from the garage, others are a little farther away.
