  1. Check with the Courtyard, they may have a service that they recommend. They may also make arrangements for their guests.
  2. Lost mine in the pool for a couple of hours once. It slipped out of my swim trunks.
  3. This has been true on 11 of the last dozen cruises we have taken. On the Sky last March we had a Head Waiter didn't do his best. Example, one night we showed up and were told it would be a 45-minute wait for our table. We decided to be seated elsewhere. Fifteen minutes later, our waiter walked by and asked why we weren't at our regular table. The guy where we were seated thought that he was done for the night, and now he has a party of eight to serve. It was the worst service we've ever had on over 400 days of sailing Princess.
  4. Somewhat, but probably not too much. Example, Emerald Princess has 11 lifeboats on the starboard side, but only three of them are set up for tendering. For the most part they only use the double deckers to tender. This is on a lifeboat from Celebrity Beyond. I would rather tender than use it as a lifeboat. OPPS!
  5. We prefer the Amalfi, but we usually have aft cabins. Plus, it seems to be less crowded.
  6. Lucky you. But, when I saw it, it was 2:30am, by myself, nobody believes me. They say it was alcohol induced.😁
  7. Saw the green flash once. Had an Albatross follow us in the Pacific for four days. Too many flying fish to count. Now let's talk about bioluminescence. Have only seen this once.
  8. R746 was not originally a cabin. It was a storage area that was converted to a passenger cabin at some point. I also believe that you cannot access the balcony of cabin R742.
  9. In November 1922, nothing outside of Adagio or in Skywalkers.
  10. If you think that this will be the only trip you make through the canal, I would try to do the old locks. But, if only the new ones are available for your time frame, go for it. The trip through the canal is amazing. Please read this book before going. It will give you a better understanding of the trials and tribulations that were gone through, over 100 years ago, to build this engineering marvel.
  11. Same in Michigan. Got a summons last week.
  12. We have found parts of it in the dining room on some ships. On the buffet on some. No where on the rest. Just depends on the ship.
  13. When you are on the cruise, you can purchase a Future Cruise Deposit for $100. This can be used as a deposit on your next cruise, thereby reducing your deposit to $100. Plus, you will get On Board Credit, starting at $50. Not a lot, but that's a 50% return on your money.
  14. My experience has been that if you ask for say, a Sprite Zero, which they do not have on the gun, most times they will give you a can.
  15. Last trans-Atlantic we took; they were clearing crew before we even disembarked. It may be a different process, but it is using personnel that could be used to clear passengers, thereby slowing the whole process. Then if the CDC shows up for an inspection, that adds one more thing going on.
  16. Sunseeker Tours – Sightseeing in Hollywood, Los Angeles Tours Used them a couple of years ago. Were very pleased with their tour.
  17. Good choice. The whole crew will probably have to go through immigration, since the ship is arriving back in the US. Facial recognition speeds things up, but 4700 passengers and crew will still take some time. Plus, the Coast Guard usually does some type of inspection on reentry.
  18. There is a Publix pretty much across the street.
  19. If you have a traditional type dining experience, same time and same waiter, just have a standing order waiting for you.
