  1. Yes, I did this last week on Harmony. Still works.
  2. Daughter, son & nephew went on Harmony last week. It was a highlight of their cruise. My daughter who does not eat cheese or seafood, took the plunge and tried everything. A great waiter brought them the entire menu for all to try. It was a huge hit for them!
  3. I always cash out OBC (refundable or not) in the casino. We rarely spend anything on board so I cash it out & use it for tips.
  4. The chicken parts came about from not wasting food. The leftover parts of a cut up whole chicken, neck, liver, what Nonna called the coolie, all went into the sauce. Not sure about the short ribs but they taste sooo good!
  5. Ditto here, hubby does not have the app & his phone stays in the cabin safe.
  6. When we’d help my aunt make sauce, it was 50 quarts at a time prepared in 25 qt pots. When I make it at home, I only make 20 qts. Recipe includes: onions/garlic oil salt pork hamburg plus meatballs ground sausage plus links puréed chicken livers short ribs chicken thighs tomato paste and canned crushed tomatoes crushed basil/oregano/salt/pepper takes about 90 minutes to prep it all then all day simmer.
  7. My grandparents and several aunts & uncles are from the old country (we are Marchegian) and none of them ever called it gravy. Could it be regional?
  8. 3 sailings with MTD including Harmony last week. Always the same table & staff.
  9. Seems to be a NY/NJ thing. Not called gravy in CT.
  10. Just back from a week on Harmony with MTD. Same table & waitstaff every night. Just waved in with no wait every night but one. We all enjoyed tasty, appropriately hot/cold dishes (there were 3-6 of us each night) every night. Only night we did not enjoy was Mexican night. Sent back the chicken and the salmon. Settled for a couple of shrimp cocktails. Pulled pork enchiladas were dry with very little filling. Everything else was delicious and the lobster tails were an improvement over the ones they used to serve. Still not the best, but certainly edible,
  11. Yeah not where I live. No Italians in my extended family call that gravy. Gravy is the brown stuff that goes on turkey. That pot is sauce.
  12. I think it just indicates that a venue is not complementary, not the approximate cost.
  13. Bistro was closed when we sailed Harmony last year. Looking forward to different breakfast/lunch options.
  14. I love schnitzel! I don’t see a lunch menu anywhere for Bistro but now I will definitely try it!
  15. So you don’t have EDocs yet? Or the tags weren’t in there.
  16. Just happened to my WAAAAAAY older than 22 brother also after final payment. TA canceled her & he was refunded fees etc and DBP. I was refunded the dinner reservation she was included in. Canceled just be sure she didn’t show up!!!
  17. Whether one should “expect” it or not, Royal IT systems are a crapshoot and many issues that shouldn’t be, are. The inconvenience of having to call got one problem fixed. You made the assumption that you were switched to MTD. Based on your post, the phone rep merely stated that the late seating time had changed.
  18. DGS in the picture was a natural, up on his knees on the first attempt. Never wiped out.
  19. When you purchase the package, an 18% gratuity is added at check out.
  20. Yes, CP purchases appear on your sea pass card so the restaurant will know you’ve paid already. As far as I know, excursion purchases are charged immediately not when you actually take it. If you “fall” on the flow rider, the water pushes you up not down.
  21. Gotta agree with pcur, many casserole type dishes taste better the next day.
  22. Thanks, I have prepared DD for the fact it’ll probably be a regular sofa not a pull out.
