We and some friends went to Alderney, my favourite place, to celebrate my sixtieth. Unfortunately that made our trip at the end of January, a time I had never visited, and never will again. 😀
I hope Cunard are not relying on him as a major advocate, for that article would certainly put me off, with its rather disdainful ageism, self-deprecating or not.
I have never heard of this person but I do wonder why the views of an actor about anything other than acting are deemed worthy of publication, particularly when they seem to contain so much ageism.
Anyway it is always good that Cunard have a satisfied customer.
I am a weed and usually use the lift if it is more than two floors. What surprises me is how often I summon a lift and it arrives empty, though clearly not if it is going past the Lido floor at lunch time.
Mind you, having washed their hands pretty meticulously, women then faff with their hair, and perhaps reapply makeup, without necessarily washing their hands again afterwards. This may not be best hygienic practice.
And presumably food that has not been properly treated and handled is quite likely to harbour more than one sort of pathogen. Always a cheering thought.

4. Temperament.
If you are a neurotic worrier like me, you would be willing to pay more for great protection. Many, less neurotic, would risk it. Mind you, for me, it is irrelevant, because I am such a neurotic worrier, I don’t fly at all.
I shall be very interested to see your final thoughts. In addition, I should be interested to know the extent that this giant ship differs from lesser RCL ones such as Anthem, which I think is sometimes based at Soton. Strangely, although I hate the lack of connection with the sea and am not any sort of gambler, I have found more to like on Oasis than on your other voyages (not Cunard, obviously), even down to consistency of cruets. 😀
I look forward very much to accompanying you and your ma vicariously on your next jaunt.
If you are in QG, you would not be excluded from the Gala night menu, for you can order it to be served course by course in your cabin. Anyway, you can order what you like (with notice) any night in the restaurant. But, if I were you, I would cancel, because I think the combination of expense and restrictions may rankle more and more, to the extent of spoiling your cruise.
Very nice, though the chairs need cushions. I should have thought that would be a very popular space. I was also going to ask about a library, but you preempted me. What a shame it has gone.
