They do have a section of the children’s club called something like the teen zone, and, in the school holidays, I have usually noticed a fair few of that age, though not oodles. All the young I have seen have obviously been enjoying themselves, bar one, and that was down to her mother, I think. On the other hand there won’t be big things like climbing walls, ice rinks, and flumes, so that may fall short of their expectations.

The fact that the ones in the Lido didn’t all match seems to have been one of the things that most annoyed a dissatisfied Cunard passenger, so you can see the importance. 😀😀 Incidentally, it is interesting that the table is laid up properly, with a cloth and all the cutlery at once. Lots of lines don’t do that, I think.

If you are in the QG, they bring bowls of ice cream to the Grills Terraces on nice days at about 3 pm.

Yes, when I had it, I spend two days lying in bed groaning, between rushes to the loo. I think the problem might come with the two days isolation after you stopped having symptoms.

One thing that seems to be the case with nearly all the ships except QE is the amount of noise in public spaces, even open decks, which you yourself have commented on a number of times. I shall be interested to know if you are able to find quiet spaces in the daytime on your next behemoth, preferably not by finding the off switch, though that obviously works. For me, calm and serenity is one of the great attractions of a voyage.

I have just had an email specifically mentioning my approaching voyage on QA, which is about WC perks. It mentions a complimentary meal at ‘one of our alternative venues’. Does that mean any of our alternative venues or actually one specific one only. I wonder when we’ll find out. Still it all adds to the pleasurable anticipation.

Yes, the restaurant is a surprising amount of fun, especially on formal nights or when they are doing lots of flamed dishes.

You can have all your dinners in the suite, if that is what you want. In a Q2, I’m sure they do anything for you, including Verandah items, if you ask your butler nicely.
