Laszlo, We got off the Gem last year in a blizzard. The ramps going down to the street level were cleared. The plow on the parking deck had made a few passes in the aisles. If you want to be able to pull straight out, you can’t park on either row of the outside spaces. You have to pull in head first. You might find a spot in the center where you can park to pull straight out. Iimagine the worst case would be if it snows a couple of days before you get back and it freezes on your car. Mike

There isn't a beach there, just a pool, hot tub and gardens.

Our last time in November we arrived about 820 and there weren’t any porters on the parking level

On the Joy the last week in November, the Haven security line was on the left. Last year when boarding the Gem there wasn’t a separate security line.

Thank you. It was very helpful Some of the shops had hours posted for Sunday, and some stated closed on Sundays.

I’ve sailed on both and prefer the Bliss Observation Lounge over the Joy due to the large circular bar on the Bliss

We were in Barbados on a Sunday a couple of years ago and almost everything was closed. Is it the same in Antigua? Thanks, Mike

We stayed at the Ink 48 prior to a cruise and we enjoyed it. Depending on which way your room is facing you may be able to see the ship at the pier in the morning.

One person is fine. When NCL allows you to begin check-in process around 12:01 AM, skip ahead to select your check-in time at the pier first, and then go back and enter all the information. If you're logged in prior to midnight, you might need to refresh the page for the check in tab to become available. Mike

We've been there s couple of times. Once on an NCL excursion, the captain deemed it was too dangerous to try to get close to the beach so we went to a dock on the other side of the island. They provided transportation back and forth to the Soggy Dollar. Mike

I haven't sailed from NYC since March. Let time there was only one line for security then tier lines, such as platinum and casino afterwards to check in. There also was a platinum area designated in the waiting area.

We did a city tour with Iguana Mama. I would highly recommended it. we went up to the Christ statue, cigar making demonstration, rum tasting, etc. A very good lunch was included. Mike

I'm on the repositioning cruise from Port Canaveral. It arrives in Brooklyn.

The Drinks on Us in the casino does not begin until you’re outside of the N Y waters and the casino opens. Takes about an hour after sailaway
