  1. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily and to all contributors. My cacti go for a walk when I put them outside for summer, then back in for winter. Not a big bagpipe fan although sometimes I like them, and I won't be on stilts ever. Deep Camus quote. The conchas look good. I'll pass on the drink and wine. I have been to St. Petersburg on a Viking River Cruise in 2008. It's overcast with occasional sprinkles, but quite humid. I went and got my Evusheld monoclonal antibody injections earlier, then had to stay an hour in case of a reaction. After that a quick PO stop, then I picked up a few groceries to replace some of what I had to throw out due to the power outage. @superoma Happy Birthday! And Happy Birthday to your Father tomorrow! @aliaschief Thanks for the pictures from Edinburgh. @0106 I may have to try my hand at the conchas. @Heartgrove I'm glad you're back safely from Chicago. It was good that you got to see your brother, despite the limitations. Sorry you missed the ceremony due to the weather and traffic; but it sounds like the reception was great! @kazu An exciting day for you and Shadow! I hope she feels the love and is less frightened soon. @smitty34877 Sorry to hear your neighbor and his wife have Covid. I hope your teenager stays negative. @lindaler Oh no on the bicycle crash. I hope your knee heals up quickly; at least nothing broken! @cruzn single So sorry to hear of your sister's fall; thankfully nothing broken and that you've been able to help her. Can she get a visiting nurse for after you leave? @marshhawk So sorry you had that fall, and I hope you're ok! Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe and wear your mask if needed.
  2. @marshhawk Great news about Chuck! I'm so sorry to hear of what you and your family went through. I often think how blessed I was to have my adopting mother be the person she was. @Sharon in AZ Prayers for your DM and I hope her case of Covid remains mild and that she recovers quickly. @Sea Viewer Free car wash! I had a devil of a time getting my key fob open to change the battery the last time I got the low battery warning. Enjoy your coffee and cake! When I was visiting BFF's family in Germany, afternoon coffee and cake was a big thing every day at my hosts' house.
  3. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I don't like all or nothing; it's not how things work. While I had no Aunts or Uncles growing up, neighbors were given honorary Aunt or Uncle status, since you didn't call them by their first names and Mr. or Mrs. X was too formal. No to tofu for me. Interesting quote. I have never had the cake, but like the one with pumpkin; pass on the drink, and yes to the wine if someone buys it for me. I haven't been to Maroe Bay. It's warm here, but much better than the last few days. I spent the morning frustrated by not being able to install Windows updates. From online searching, many others are having the issue. I tried some tricks recommended, but nada, and don't want to do anything to extreme to PC. Oh well. After this, I'm going upstairs to clean up the area of fallen plaster and try to put some protective cloth down as more rain may occur tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow is Evusheld injection and Friday I see Orthopedics about my knees (haven't had an injection since 2019). @rafinmd Thank you for keeping our lists. @kazu How exciting that Shadow is in Canada now and will be with you soon (maybe very soon)! @0106 Thanks for the recipes! @marshhawk Prayers for Chuck. @StLouisCruisers Happy Birthday to Morgan (great picture)! Prayers for DD's surgery and recovery. Oh, how cute is Sadie! @dfish Sorry you missed your fjord cruise. Thanks for the pictures. @Cruzin Terri I hope all the appointments are able to get you feeling well. @superoma Welcome to the air fryer club. And early Happy Birthday tomorrow! @kochleffel Good news on the bloodwork. I had that same menu last year; no fun! @grapau27 Sorry to hear about Pauine's work colleague. @ktbraun I hope your DH recovers quickly and symptoms remain mild. @ger_77 I hope DH's ultrasound turns out ok. @ClippyJoe Sad that you never got to meet your father, but wonderful of your aunt and uncle to have you and your Mother live with them. @1ANGELCAT I hope your brother can get a decent replacement car; even used cars are so expensive now. @smitty34877 Yes I saw the Joni Mitchell clip; very emotional with all she's been through. @Quartzsite Cruiser Thanks for the pictures. @Sharon in AZ I think at the A&W near where I grew up, the carhops wore roller skates! @Live4cruises Yay on remaining Covid free! Sorry to hear the news about your kitty. @aliaschief Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip with us. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  4. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Interesting days. I like to cook and bake. Never had a chili dog. I used to do cross-stitching, but can't with my eyesight right now. The quote is true. I'll pass on the wine, drink and maybe take the meal with beef. I haven't been to Pichilingue. Thanks for the pictures. There were more storms overnight, but the power stayed on. However, in the area where I think there is a roof leak, a chunk of ceiling plaster came down. Luckily I knew what the noise was as I lay in bed this morning. I called a roofer, who I had planned to use for a possible roofing replacement, and he'll come out on Saturday. I figure maybe he can at least put up a tarp or something for now. It's always something! At least it's not quite as hot; I got my electric bill today and costs have sure gone up! I'm baking a loaf of bread since it's not too hot. @aliaschief I hope your stomach is feeling better today. Thanks for the pictures. I'll pass on the haggis! @StLouisCruisers Great picture of Ren and his coach. I hope his leg is feeling better quickly. Love DD's tree. @kazu I enjoy your flower pictures. @ottahand7 Sorry to hear about the monarch larva. Sad to hear about the 2 US men who lost their lives in Ukraine, as is the whole situation in Ukraine. @durangoscots Wow, a bear that close; be careful. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  5. Good afternoon. I'll salute Amelia Earhart. I don't have any cousins. Parents play such a critical role in out lives; my Mother has been gone for 29 years already. I like the quote. I'll pass on the meal. The drink seems refreshing. Not sure about the wine (wet rocks?). I haven't been to today's destination. Thanks for the pictures @Quartzsite Cruiser@StLouisCruisers@Dr.Dobro Well, the power finally came back on around 9AM (off 17.5 hours). So I set about setting clocks, and recharging my portable power packs. Then it went off again at 10:15. It came back on at 11:15 and so far so good. The AC is on (it's 90 currently)! I will need to start tossing eggs, dairy and some meats from the fridge a bit later, sigh. The government has lists of what has to go if the fridge is above 40F for more than 2 hours. I have remote monitors of the fridge and freezer, and it got up to 52 in the fridge. The freezers should be ok. Possible scattered thunderstorms this evening, but it was the wind yesterday that did the damage. I'm also making a loaf of sourdough bread, and I need power for the oven. If power hadn't come back, I could have gone to BFF's house; he has a generator, but didn't lose power with the storm. @grapau27 Thank you for Father David's sermon today. Happy Birthday to your cousin. @smitty34877 I'm glad you all got to enjoy the neighbor's pool last night. I am happy to hear that Tana had visitors and is less anxious. @mamaofami Prayers for your DS's recovery. @ger_77 Yes there was a storm yesterday. The rain wasn't terrible, but the winds were ferocious. Lots of trees and wires down. @Quartzsite Cruiser It seems you've been almost everywhere! I'm jealous of all your travels. @lindaler Good to hear that the offer on the house was accepted. @aliaschief It sounds like you're having a grand time. With all that walking, you can eat anything you want, I'd think. @StLouisCruisers Congrats to Ren and the Tigers! It sounds like it was a nail biter. @dfish Thanks for sharing your cruise. Enjoy! @durangoscots I hope all that work at the shelter goes according to plan this week. @Sea Viewer Welcome home.
  6. Good morning. Just a quick check-in, as I’m still without power for the last 17 hours. I got about 3 hours of sleep. Prayers for the Care List and a toast to the Celebration List.
  7. Almost 7 hours and still no power! There were about 50,000 people affected, now down to about 15,000. Power company says worst case scenario is Monday by noon! Better not be!!! Who can afford to lose all that food; plus it’s going up in the 90’s tomorrow. ☹️
  8. We had storms roll through with high winds a bit ago. My power has been out for about half an hour so far. Fortunately the temperature went down from 91 to 68 and I have the window open. @ger_77 So sorry to hear of the death of your friend. My condolences. And congrats to your DS on the Lifesaving medal. @StLouisCruisers Oh the look on Sadie’s face when she was out on the street!
  9. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. A salute to cowboys. The only vanilla ice cream I like is Breyer's; I like other flavors more. Drowning prevention is so important; we've sadly had a couple of child drownings in pools this summer. Great quote. I've never made tortillas. Pass on the drink and wine. I've never been to Haifa. Thanks for the photos @Quartzsite Cruiser. It's already 86 and sunny here, in the 90's later. There was just a severe thunderstorm alert from now until 7PM. I had a nice (but $$$) dinner out with BFF last evening. No big plans for today; maybe I'll catch up on some stuff on the DVR. @Rowsby Sad, but you have to do what you feel comfortable doing. @StLouisCruisers Go Tigers! Sorry to hear the heat was so oppressive, even in the morning. @kazu Love the flowers. @summer slope Happy Birthday! @dfish It sounds like you're having a great time! Prayers for the Care List and a Toast to the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  10. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I've never had a hammock. Summer Leisure days are nice. Spoonerisms can be funny. Interesting quote. I'll pass on the meal, wine and drink. I have been to Nawiliwili. It's hot here as it is many places. I had trouble falling asleep last night, and around 2AM felt my leg was itchy. I looked and there was a hive at the injection site, so I took a Benadry. Now I'm dragging today. I had a Rheumatology appointment this morning. Not much new, just getting set up for Evusheld monoclonal antibodies. I will be seeing Ortho about my knee pain as the NP didn't want to try injecting it. Then I ran home to put together BFF's little birthday gift, and we'll have dinner at a new (to us) steak and seafood place. @StLouisCruisers I'm glad to hear the Tigers won, and no rough stuff. I see a dog in the clouds. @AMRDS Welcome to the Daily! @kazu Thanks for the garden photos. @smitty34877 Nice of the neighbors to invite you to use their pool. @ger_77 Hopefully DH's leg will feel better soon. @mamaofami I hope DS is better soon. Happy Birthday to him! @Live4cruises Prayers that you test negative! @bennybear Sorry DH had a rough time with the surgery, but hopefully they got it all. BFF has had issues with the anesthetic not working well for some of his removal procedures and now tells them to give extra. @kochleffel I would've left too! Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone! From my Aug 11, 2021 post: Sunrise in Nawiliwili Blowhole (Spouting Horn) Chickens in Kauai Waimea Canyon (it was foggy) Tug doing donuts before we left port Leaving Nawiliwili
  11. I grew up in NJ and live in PA, and of course we have junk drawers. Usually it was a kitchen drawer, but after my kitchen renovation it's now one of the drawers in the dining room buffet.
  12. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I am someone today and everyday! I don't really have any junk food around to eat (I have pretzels but don't consider that junk food). Dogs are great companions, even though I've never had one. Funny quote. I don't like pesto, but would take the chicken meatballs without it. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Avalon. Thanks for the photos @Quartzsite Cruiser @GTVCRUISER@Cruising-along I'm late today. The Benadryl I took last night knocked me out. It was thundering when I went to sleep, but we only got about 1/8" of rain overnight. I woke up at 7, turned on the TV, and the next thing I knew it was 9AM. But it did its job; I couldn't even see where I gave the shot - no hives or itching! I got the lawn mowed this AM while a good part of the yard was in shade, just because it looked scraggly. Boy was I sweating. It's almost 90 now and humid. Then I had to go out to get a birthday card for BFF for tomorrow; I'm taking him out to dinner. I see my Rheumatologist tomorrow morning and need to get my questions written down so I don't forget anything. @aliaschief Safe travels. @marshhawk I'm glad you're feeling better today. And prayers for Chuck's biopsy. @bennybear Prayers for DH's surgery. @Sharon in AZ Happy Birthday to Craig! And Happy Retirement! @grapau27 Great pizza and Pauline looks lovely as usual. @Heartgrove Safe travels to Chicago tomorrow, and enjoy the wedding. @1ANGELCAT Good luck with the nerve test; hopefully they figure out what's going on. @StLouisCruisers Sorry you are still having night time leg pain. Because of our frequent power outages (even when the sun is shining), I recently bought a rechargeable fan. It's supposed to run 16 hour on low when fully charged. Aww, sounds like Sadie was confused by the new surroundings. @ger_77 It sounds like you had a great time with your friends. Wow on the fish catch. Nice pictures! Love the sunsets. I hope your DH's tests turn out ok. @Overhead Fred Wow, that squirrel looks so odd. Sometimes I see black squirrels here, but have never seen a white one. Although on NextDoor people have posted pictures of a white raccoon in the area. @Vict0riann I'm glad you were able to check in. It sounds like you're having a great time! @kazu Oh my on Shadow's earlier arrival; I'm sure it'll be fine. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone and hydrate!
  13. Yes, the stockings are made by Jobst. Every 6 months I get measured for them. The stockings are made in Germany and shipped to me. Before I went on Medicare I used to get 3 pair a year, and the cost wasn't too bad. Medicare doesn't cover them, even though I see an edema specialist, and they're about $400 a pair! So I get 2 pair a year lately, and I wear old ones until the elastic gets ineffective (they supposedly have a 6 month lifespan, but I use them much longer). Garage door opener/car pairing is done, although I was sweating profusely. The opener has Wi-Fi, so now to set up the app.
  14. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I haven't had an ice cream soda in ages. I had a hotdog yesterday for lunch; a day too early. My post office has lollipops out; I'm headed there shortly. Good quote! I like the meal. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Valletta. Thanks for all the great photos. Another hot day here, with perhaps some thunderstorms after midnight. The new garage door opener is installed. Now I need to pair the remote to the HomeLink button in my car, then pair the car to the opener (tricky, as you have 30 seconds from pushing a button on the opener to pushing one in the car). I'd hoped to do it this AM before the garage was over 90, but too late. It's my injection day, so I've taken Benadryl earlier and more this afternoon. Hopefully no hive/itching at the injection site tomorrow. @StLouisCruisers I wear custom fitted compression stockings daily from the time I'm up until I go to bed, and in temperatures like this, no fun! Sorry you still have pain. Congrats to the Tigers. @0106 Thanks for the recipes and all the chili pepper info! @Cruzin Terri Enjoy the drive on the Colonial Parkway today. Thanks for the Valletta pictures. @cat shepard Yay on the all clear from the Dermatologist! @smitty34877 Good to hear that your niece and her DH tested negative and are feeling better. @kazu Love the dahlias. It reminds me of my mother; growing up we had lots of dahlias and I remember digging up the bulbs and storing them in the basement in paper bags over the winter. @cunnorl Oh my on people getting struck by lightning. We had several cases last year, either on golf courses on in parks. @lindaler I hope your DS gets the house. @Horizon chaser 1957 @aliaschief Safe travels tomorrow. @bennybear Prayers for DH's surgery tomorrow. Prayers for the Care List and a shout out for the Celebration List. Stay safe and cool everyone.
  15. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'm thankful for the new friends made on the Daily! I haven't had raspberry cake nor played words with friends. Excellent quote. I like the soup. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Saguenay. Thanks for the pictures. It's hot and steamy here. I'm happy I got almost 2" of rain yesterday. I'm waiting for the garage door people. Yesterday after an evaluation, I decided to get a new opener, rather than trying just a new receiver on the old current one. It's 30+ years old and very old technology. He didn't have one on the truck, so coming this afternoon. I'll get the electric eye (now mandatory), a keypad in addition to the remote, and the opener has wifi! @Cruzin Terri Enjoy your time in Williamsburg. @grapau27 Stay cool! And hydrate. Lovely garden and flowers. @0106 Great recipes today. Thanks! @smitty34877 Good to hear you and DH aren't having many effects from the shots. Oh my, Camilla is getting so big! And good news that her GF is going home today. @kazu Thanks for the memes. @rafinmd Thanks for the video; cool about that echo. @aliaschief It's good that you're feeling better. @mamaofami Prayers for DS that he feels better soon. @marshhawk Good luck with the boosters. @StLouisCruisers Congrats to Ren and the mighty Tigers! My AC is about 24 years old. I have 2 separate units, one for the first floor and a second bigger one for the 2nd and 3rd floors. All I've had done is a capacitor replaced on the larger one last year (fingers crossed). Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  16. The garage door person was here. I could try a new receiver, but since the old opener is 30+ years old, I elected to get a new one. I'll also get a keypad with it, as well as a remote. He didn't have it on the truck, so he'll come back tomorrow. I have 2 garage doors, but am only replacing the opener on the troublesome one, which is the one I use all the time. @Horizon chaser 1957 Sad to hear of the passing of the couple who were your friends; so tough on the family to lose both of them so close together. That's bad that they sometimes can't adequately staff the ferries. @Cruising-along Congrats on the good A1C result! You must be doing something right. @kazu It does not sound stupid! You've had a great loss and of course it's hard and sad. (((HUGS))) @aliaschief I'm glad you got some meds for your sinuses. @1ANGELCAT It sounds like this doctor has a plan, which is good. Great that the employee in the pharmacy was an advocate to help you get your medication for less. The rain has stopped and the sun is out. Now it'll get steamy. Yuk.
  17. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Daily. The website went down while I was trying to post! No kids to hug. I like some sour lemon candies. I will try to listen today. Good quote. I like guac. The drink sounds good. Pass on the wine. I haven't been to Kodiak. Thanks for the pictures. We've had rain here since yesterday afternoon (we need it!). Last I checked my rain gauge was at about 1.75". I'm waiting for the garage door opener repair people; my window was 1-3 pm. @luvteaching Welcome home! @grapau27 I've been hearing how hot it is in London and France. Stay cool! @smitty34877 I'm glad to hear Camilla's DGF is starting to improve. Hopefully you and DH don't have too many side effects from the booster today. I'm sure Tana is happy to have you home again. @1ANGELCAT I hope the hand specialist is able to help you. @aliaschief Good that you're going to see about your sinuses. Interesting about turmeric. @Vict0riann Nice picture of you two. @HAL Sailer Congrats to DN on his race finish! Great news that DB is improving and might race again! Sorry to hear DSIL tested positive; hopefully a mild case. @mamaofami I hope DS feels better soon. Good luck at the dentist. @StLouisCruisers I hope the leg continues to improve. Good move on the compression stockings. @dobiemom Ugh on the flight issues! Safe trip home. @marshhawk Good job on getting the walk in. Prayers that DH's biopsy is negative. @bennybear Lovely flowers. Prayers for the Care List and a Toast for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  18. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I will have ice cream today in celebration of National Ice Cream Day! I've heard of wrong way Corrigan but don't know much. Emojis are ok, if not overused. Good quote. I like the meal (maybe in air fryer). My mother was from the South and made great fried chicken; unfortunately I didn't pay attention as a kid, and have never made it myself. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Shimizu, or Japan. Thanks for the pictures. I was awakened at 6:10 by a loud clap of thunder. We only got about 1/4" of rain overnight; better than nothing, but not enough. I made some small waffles this AM, and will freeze the extra for future easy use. I also fed my sourdough starter and will make a loaf of bread later. @grapau27 Thanks for Father David's sermon today. Good news about Sarah! @0106 Great recipes! @Cruzin Terri Safe travels and have a great time! @dfish I hope you're having a blast! @1ANGELCAT Awful about your DB's car being totaled. @Vict0riann Good to hear Pat's bag was found and you are onboard. Enjoy! @Crazy For Cats Happy Anniversary! @kazu Awww, on the bird's nest. Your flowers are all beautiful. @smitty34877 Sorry to hear your niece's DH had to be hospitalized and prayers for him; good that Camilla and her parents are feeling better. @StLouisCruisers I'm glad your leg was a little better last night. Nice to hear that many were there for Buddy's funeral; I'm sure the family was appreciative. @aliaschief I hope your sinus issue settles down soon. @bennybear Thanks for the great Shimizu pictures. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  19. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I like cooked spinach, not into spinach salads. I'll keep my distance from snakes; BFF had a large one in his yard recently. I remember Woodie Wagons. True quote! I'll pass on the drink and take the meal and wine. I have been to Alaska, but haven't been to Whittier. Thanks for the pictures. It was cloudy this AM, with rain nearby, but none here, unfortunately. No big plans today for me. Maybe I'll make some sourdough discard crackers later. @kazu Slow and steady will get all the things sorted and tidied up. Love the monkshood. @0106 Thanks for the recipes. @StLouisCruisers Sorry to hear you had a bad night. Prayers for Amy and the family as they attend Buddy's funeral today. @rafinmd Thinking of you and the family as your Aunt is buried today. @grapau27 It's good that Sarah is feeling better; sorry she's still positive, but it seems common. @HAL Sailer Great to hear that DB is doing better! Best of luck to his son in the race. @marshhawk Prayers that DH's biopsy doesn't show any cancer. @smitty34877 I'm glad you made it home safely. Good to hear that Camilla and her parents are negative, but sorry your niece and her DH are positive (and I hope you and DH remain negative!). @ger_77 Enjoy your visit with your friends at the lake. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  20. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Good days. Pet Fire safety is important. I respect Canada, and need to visit more of it! I'm amassing stuff I don't use to donate. I'll pass on the meal (fish) and wine. I like Bahama Mamas, a lot, lol. I've been to Australia, but haven't been to Penneshaw. It's mid-70's and less humid; lovely day. However, I will be toiling away in my basement, trying to get rid of stuff and just generally organize. @Vict0riann Sorry to hear Pat's suitcase didn't make it with your flight. Enjoy the Copenhagen HO-HO. @kazu Congrats on winning the liquor basket. @grapau27 Good to hear that Sarah continues to improve. @Cruzin Terri It will be nice to get away and see your friends. @0106 Great job on the meal post! And thanks for the quote explanation. @dfish Have a safe flight! @marshhawk I hope things work out for DH's pain (and that he takes his meds as he should). It sounds like his new campaign is a good fit! @mamaofami That's weird about the phone calls. So sorry to hear your son has Covid. I hope his case is mild. @Crazy For Cats Ugh on the credit card issue; at least you caught it quickly. I'd be cautious of that pharmacy. @StLouisCruisers Good to hear that DD tested negative, but oh no on her DH testing positive! Prayers for Buddy's family as they go through the funeral tomorrow, and they know you're there in spirit with them. Prayers for the Care List and a Toast for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  21. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Busy here today! A salute to Bastille Day. People are more Shark aware, with the recent sightings and attacks. Hopefully no pandemonium here. I like Mac & Cheese, but don't make it, as BFF doesn't like and I won't make it for just me. Funny quote. I'll pass on the meal and wine. I like the drink. I've been to Athens on a land trip, but not to Piraeus. It's sunny, warm and supposedly less humid, but not to me. We got about 0.1" of rain yesterday. I went for my mammogram this AM, then a stop by the grocery store (I did notice many more people with masks on). I had to call someone to come look at my garage door openers next week; I have been finding one of the two doors open at times. Luckily nothing missing, like lawn mowers or snow blowers. The openers are ancient, and probably need to be replaced. @StLouisCruisers Continued prayers for you and your family. @dfish Safe travels. Have a great cruise. @grapau27 It sounds like the doctor's appointment went well. And good job on the weight loss. @kazu I hope the toe is healing! Thanks for the pictures of Shadow and for passing on the message from @luvteaching. @Cruzin Terri The endodontist's office staff sounds clueless. @HAL Sailer Great news about Curt! I hope he continues his recovery. Great story and picture of your DM and the Acropolis. @smitty34877 Enjoy the remainder of your time away, and safe travels home. @Heartgrove So sorry to hear your brother is not doing well. Safe travels to the wedding. @0106 Thanks for filling in while Debbie is away! Good job on the Mac & Cheese recipe. @ger_77 Nice grocery bags; you're very talented, and love the shortcuts. @cruzn single Sorry to hear about your flight issues. @Overhead Fred The yard looks great. @Dr.Dobro Great picture. Thanks. @Horizon chaser 1957 Congrats on winning the screened tent! @Seasick Sailor Happy Birthday to Allen! @luvteaching Waving to you! Sorry to hear about the azipod and the changes caused by it. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List. Stay safe everyone.
  22. @StLouisCruisers Condolences to Amy, her children and all the family. Prayers for comfort for all.
  23. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'm not a big fan of barbershop music. I embrace my Geekness; it comes in handy! I can't easily be in a Fool's Paradise. It's also National French Fries Day! Great quote. The sorbetes looks good. I'll pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Monte Carlo (was to have gone on my 2020 Cruise that didn't happen). Thanks for the photos. Another warm day. Possible thunderstorm this evening, but not counting on it. I went and had my haircut at noon. Masks still required (yay!). My stylist said he and his wife had Covid a few weeks ago. Not from the salon, but taking someone home from church whose son had it; they were masked in the car, but still got it (not sure if the passenger was masked). @smitty34877 Enjoy Cape Cod with your family! @HAL Sailer I hope your DB is feeling better. Sad that you won't get to see Camilla and her parents. @dfish It's almost here! Have a great cruise. @Vict0riann Safe travels tomorrow and fingers crossed for negative tests. @grapau27 Great to hear that Sarah is feeling better. @kazu Lovely flowers. It's the same here; very dry and when they call for rain, we only get wind. I hope your toe is healing well. @StLouisCruisers Good to hear you were able to sleep better. Sorry to hear that DD's test was still positive; good thing she has the insurance. Great photos, as usual! @kb4683 Thanks for the Monaco photos. @durangoscots I'm glad you're coming along after the fall. Good of that ER to call to check on you. @Overhead Fred Nice photos. @Cruising-along Better estimate on the skylight indeed. Great photo of DGS's and neighbor's DGD. @Quartzsite Cruiser Thanks for the photos. @marshhawk Sorry you aren't feeling well. @Seasick Sailor I hope the eye meds fix DS's eye quickly. Prayers for the Care List and a Toast to the Celebration List (although after dry June, my first and only glass of wine gave me palpitations!). Stay safe everyone.
  24. Good evening. Thanks for the Daily/Fleet Report. I appreciate cows! I had an Etch-a-Sketch as a kid. Paper bags are ok, but I like reusable ones. Not sure about the quote. Pass on the meal due to the carbs. I like the drink and wine. I haven't been to Whitehorse. Thanks for the pictures. It's hot and humid here, with possible rain, but so far they've been wrong. I'm late today. I went out to a late lunch with BFF and another friend; Fortunately the restaurant was fairly empty. @HAL Sailer Sorry to hear your DB is so sick with Covid. Prayers for him. @dfish I'm glad your and Donna's flights are straightened out. @StLouisCruisers Hoping the leg feels better soon. Continued prayers for your family.
