Good morning. Thanks for the Daily/Fleet Report. The Daily family cheers me up when I'm feeling lonely! I like blueberry muffins. Can't celebrate Bowdler. I like the quote. I'll take the chicken part of the meal; I've never had fennel, but like fennel seeds in certain recipes. I'll pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to La Goulette. It's going to be hot and humid again today. I'll mainly be inside; laundry and the usual sorting through stuff to donate. BFF helped me with a couple of things yesterday (like getting my vintage heavy oak porch swing adjusted). Then we just sat on the porch and chatted. My right eye is very irritated. I'm not sure if it's a flare; I think yesterday while doing yard work, I was sweating and sweat/sunscreen got in my eye (I wasn't wearing my visor that usually stops it from getting in my eyes). I'm putting in extra steroid drops anyway. I set up an appointment at the Genius Bar, but then tried connecting it to the PC. Lo and behold it started up and was fine, so I cancelled the Apple store appointment. I had backed up the phone just a few days ago, but that wasn't needed. Then I ran a couple of errands, to the pharmacy and grocery store. I was masked and about 10% of others were too. @rafinmd Welcome back! Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. No one here to kiss. I like good fried chicken (my Mother's in particular), but haven't had any in many years. I think most people lose or don't use umbrella covers, except for patio umbrellas. The quote is true. I've never had turkey scallopini. I take the drink and pass on the wine. I haven't been to Geiranger or anywhere in Norway. Thanks for the pictures. It is hot and humid here. We had some rain overnight (I didn't hear it) and now it's sprinkling. We need a good soaking rain. I took 25mg of Benadryl last night and 50mg this AM an hour before my shot. So we'll see how the local reaction goes. There were some locals shooting off fireworks until about midnight, but the nearby big city I'm in a suburb of had cracked down on fireworks and it showed. Good morning. Thanks for the 4th of July Daily/Fleet report. Happy 4th of July! Good days. No BBQ for me, as I'm just home alone. I'll make a burger for dinner, but I don't have a grill. I'm not a big country music fan and never fried an egg on the sidewalk. I disagree partly with the quote - you can be overdressed. We may have rain the rest of the week, which we need. There were some neighborhood fireworks after 11 last night, but I fell asleep pretty quickly. It will be hot today. I didn't fall asleep until about 3AM. When the AC was on I was cold and pulled the blanket up; then when it cycled off, I was too hot! Well, one step forward, two back. The new leg wrapping was again uncomfortable yesterday, but it ok today, and comes off tomorrow! I woke up with my left eye feeling scratchy; now can't stand any light without pain, so sunglasses are on inside. I dared to look outside, and oh the pain! No, not an Unna boot. There's no ulcer or wound. It's the 3M 2 layer compression system. Basically a way to more quickly get fluid out of the legs. They're somewhat uncomfortable now, but I expect it to feel better tomorrow AM as the legs are usually down some after being in bed overnight.

I'm a camera fan, and have about 5 (mostly Nikon) - 3 DSLR and a couple of point and shoot ones; I used to have a darkroom too, until I switched to digital. I'm for hugs, but not mud. Interesting quote. I like the meal if someone will make it for me. I'll pass on the drink and take the wine. I haven't been to Andalsnes. I'm late today, having gone to a doctor's appointment and a pharmacy stop. While the infection seems to have subsided, there was an extra 1.5L of fluid in the leg since last measurements in March. So both legs are wrapped (means only sponge baths). I go back Friday, and they'll rewrap. I can take it off on Sunday and resume using my usual compression stockings. @kazu I'm glad you finally made it home. Nice neighbors! Sunglasses are very important for me with my eye condition; I'm never outside without them, even on cloudy days. Welcome @ktbraun and @Nickelpenny to the Daily/Fleet report. You'll find very nice folks here. @Cruising-along My AC downstairs is set at 77/78. The room I hang out in used to be a porch and has a tin roof, so it really heats up. There's also a thru-the-wall air conditioning unit in that room, that I turn on when the rest of the first floor doesn't need to be cooled. Since my house is so big, I have a 2nd AC system for the 2nd and 3rd floors. That comes on in the evening. I have it set to 78 since the thermostat is on the hotter 3rd floor, and that cools the bedrooms on the 2nd floor to about 74-75.
