  1. I know!! When we were on the Edge we asked why there wasn’t a World Class Bar and they told me they were already building Apex but it would definitely be on the Beyond. He said there were many complaints about not having it on the Edge. Then on the Beyond my friend told me about the M class getting all those fabulous cocktails. I see you are from RI. I lived there most of my life and miss it. Am coming up next week for a 3 week visit! I need to get all my RI food staples while I’m there.
  2. My friend (beverage manager) told me they were going to do this. He said I will be able to get my favorite world class drinks on all ships eventually.
  3. What does that even mean? Woke activities?
  4. Do you get the tasting menu meal even on a 3 day cruise? I just turned Diamond so not sure.
  5. My last Concierge cabin on Apex was toward the back of the ship. Quite a hike from the elevators. It was a B2B and the next cruise was a regular IV in a much better location. The new Edge class ships sell more concierge rooms just to make more money. The perk of location doesn’t exist.
  6. Yet whenever we eat there we see a lot of empty tables. Every time!
  7. Once they attract more vapors because of the vaping in the casino you can bet they will be vaping all over the ship. I see it now how they ‘sneak’ a vape but eventually have to let the vapor out and there’s no place for it to go. I will try new cruise lines but knowing they allow smoking in the casino I will just not gamble. I won’t go back to Celebrity because I just don’t want to give them my money knowing they don’t need my loyalty. I have 2 cruises booked with friends I will keep. If they implement this new rule that will be it after 45 cruises with them. I will miss the crew very much, some have become friends.
  8. I had a 5 night dining package on Beyond (9 night cruise) and boarded the ship at 11am. I went straight to the specialty dining to make reservations for various restaurants. They told me Eden was sold out and Le Voyage and the steak house was only available certain nights at either 5 or 9:30. I asked for a full refund on my dining package. A few hours later they miraculously found reservations available and at the times I wanted in all the restaurants.
  9. I once had dinner at the Captains table (when they actually had a captains table) and it was with the chief engineer and the head of the shops. They had just done a chartered nude cruise and said the passengers were all very respectful and nice. They did dress for dinner but otherwise carried towels and put them down before sitting. They crew have been trained to look straight ahead when walking around the ship. The dinner was very funny with the stories they were telling.
  10. I remember that one! It seems Cruise Critic X’d that one before it even started!
  11. How can you not notice a puff of smoke on an airplane? I see it at the pool on a lot of my cruises but saying something is the same as saying something about chair hogs. Nothing ever happens to them. The crew is afraid to anger any passenger and that is the cruise lines fault.
  12. Better put Baltimore on that list. I also saw a sniffy dog in Miami cruise port.
  13. Baltimore cruise port always had a beagle sniffing people. We called him sniffy and he was adorable. However I only saw him working when we disembarked. I did see him sit in front of an older women’s suitcase. When they opened it it was full of oranges!
  14. I imagine we all got that same answer from the executive offices of Celebrity. I love how they say there hasn’t been an impact. Of course they will say that.
  15. I never new that! Thank you! I will do that in January.
  16. I agree with you there. I am a Celebrity cruiser (40+) with a couple of Royal cruises. I just didn’t understand the ship I sailed in on part.
  17. I’m talking about Coco beach club where people said is more quiet and less kids.
  18. Not even sure what this means. Though I am sure it’s snarky.
  19. That OBC won’t even get you a chair at some places on Coco cay. Honestly who thinks $150 is a good deal on a normally $300 a person for a beach chair?
  20. No balcony’s ugh. Unless a suite or sunset veranda. On the other hand OV is much cheaper and practically the same as IV.
  21. I’ll be playing on the slides with your hubby and my hubby will be sitting in a chair with you! At amusement parks he is my purse holder while I go on rides.
  22. Tilapia? That means no seafood options. Tilapia is not seafood, it is farm raised and does not swim in the ocean. This is sad…
  23. So no seafood options? Tilapia is farm raised and NOT seafood.
  24. Yes they have different packages for the number of nights you want. The only problem is you have to wait to get onboard to book your reservations. Last time I did this some restaurants were not available to book as they were already full from pre booking for those paying each restaurant individually.
