  1. That makes no sense. Once you've booked the cruise, they should not charge any additional for the extra stop. We had a 5-day become a 7-day with no additional charge.
  2. Rendezvous is the most popular, though we also like some "non-standard" locations. If the music is good, we've been known to dance in Cellar Masters where we've always been the only ones doing this. And we sometimes take our own music down to the Deck Three between Guest Services and the Shore Excursion Desk during the day - it's generally pretty empty except on the first day when there are long lines of people asking about their drink packages.
  3. When we were on the Infinity in March, we were told it would be revolutionized in early 2024, though that's an unofficial rumour.
  4. We had excellent WiFi on our 24 days on the Infinity in South American in March. Rumour has it that the Infinity will be revolutionized in early 2024, though I can't find any official announcement.
  5. Does anyone have a current schedule for the Revolution? I've been searching the web, but I can't find anything recent. I'm specifically interested in the Solstice, but it would be good if we had all the information in one place.
  6. The dining packages they offer are for a set number of specialty dining meals - usually from three up to the number of days on the cruise. You will find them in your account under "Plan My Cruise".
  7. You are free to pass up on your earned benefits. Others like to use the status they've earned.
  8. In that case, hold onto your eyes. We have a 7am departure after a cruise in March, but it works because the ship overnights in the arrival port.
  9. Nexus is far better at only $50, and includes both GE and Pre privileges.
  10. Or, as pointed out above, Luminae if you're booked in a suite.
  11. Never over the duty free limit, but close to it, including "goods to follow".
  12. YMMV. We've never had the cruise line forward any information to customs.
  13. You have a much, much higher chance of getting COVID or Norovirus.
  14. They have many levels in between. It's just that those levels have no unique names and come with no additional benefits.
  15. I'd say it looks overcooked. A proper burger should be cooked between rare and medium rare. Most restaurants won't do it for fear of foodborne illness (because they use substandard meat), but they will do it in Luminae. If it's not dripping, it's overcooked.
  16. You would have to physically force me just to be in Vegas in the first place!
  17. They're generally pretty good.
  18. As stated above, seat assignments are never guaranteed on any airline regardless of the ticket type. You can't blame FbC for this one.
  19. You can always request that a moderator update the subject.
  20. Longer cruises, more expensive cruises, and transoceanic cruises tend to have very few children.
  21. My wife is quite enamoured of the gluten-free offerings in Cafe al Bacio, though I can't guarantee they're all vegan.
  22. Yes. We often send laundry soon after boarding.
