We purchased S2 guarantees for our upcoming South America cruises. Got one assignment about three months pre-cruise and one about six weeks pre-cruise.

We don't find pool crowding to be an issue because we don't use the pool. As for the thread police, I'd rather see informative posts about any subject than people trying to control every aspect of our lives.

Not even close to "filled". The only allow smoking in a small section of the slots (which is still too much, but easily avoidable). They also have non-smoking nights. I detest smoke, but I haven't had an issue on Princess in years.

Murano is not what it once was, though if you definitely plan on eating there, first night is always cheaper. But I would go Luminae.

And there are several things that Celebrity is lacking in as well. They both have advantages and disadvantages.

In the sushi restaurant, it's à la carte pricing and you pay per piece. Then you get a $30 credit per person toward what you purchased.

The last PUP ran into early January, so that's probably it.

On MSC, you get a model of your ship in chocolate just for being top tier. Much nicer.

And also, if you and your partner both have status to match, you should only match one. That way, if your MSC status does expire, the other person can get the status match if you need it. There are no additional benefits to both people in a cabin having status - all benefits are on a per-cabin basis and not a per-person basis..

People only have one birthday. The rest are anniversaries.

Technically, surimi can be made from a number of different fish species. Pollock is just one of those. Whiting and haddock are also often used.

Why would they do that? There should be no restrictions as to how many times you eat. I do remember on the Apex eating in Blu, then moving to one of the MDRs for dessert.

They already have. On our last cruise in December, they had cut the amount of cheese on the soup by about 50%. They also went from real shaved parmesan on the Caesar salad to Kraft (or store brand equivalent) grated parmesan.

You can eat as many dinners as you want. I'm sure the multi-DR approach would net you multiple free lobster tails as well - four of Celebrity's micro-tails might almost be enough to make up one full-sized lobster tail at a landside restaurant.

Just do a Google search for "MSC status match". Do not sign up for Voyager separately - they will assign you a number with they give you your status match.

We got transit passes which just let us sit in a different section while waiting for boarding. Then we were sent to an area with two immigration officers, while non-B2B passengers were sent to an area with four immigration officers and so they got onboard much more quickly. We also had to re-take our pictures prior to boarding - they could not use the pictures from our first cruise or from our check-in - slowing us down even further. There was no suite line, nor was there an Elite line in Sydney.

I guess we dpn't need to worry about "navigating around" the cuts. Room service - never used it. OVC for dinner - never used it. Lobster night cuts - never ordered a second tail anyway. Even in Blu and Luminae it's not generally worth it. Specialty restaurants - were never worth the price (except Eden on Apex). MDR menu cuts - I don't see anything substantial there. None of these "cuts" really seem to affect quality, just quantity. However, we did notice a decrease in the quality of cooking and ingredients between two B2B cruises in December, and those do affect us.

And usually overcooked.

Unless you want to board the ship in time for lunch.

Stock value for cruise lines is irrelevant to us. We have already made back more than our initial investment in OBC.

It did not work that way for us in Sydney. The only consistent thing here is Celebrity's inconsistency.

It's not hard to get that much or more with FCD, stock, promotions, travel agent OBC, ...
