  1. Thanks!!!! I was wondering about this. I wonder if this is the totality of the vegan choices for the whole cruise or just one day's choices. (My guess is it's the totality based on this year's cruise) ***
  2. THANK YOU! Finally a specialty restaurant that has something a vegetarian or vegan can order!
  3. @capriccio - Are you on the ship? From the photos I've seen there don't seem to be any shaded areas with loungers - just chairs.
  4. @cruisedoctor - Do those blue panels provide any shade or are they just windbreakers?
  5. But there was a video on this thread of the musicians in the Irish Pub. Unless Princess has some amazing Disney animatronics they were definitely human and playing/singing.
  6. I was so excited to book 29 days on this new ship for the fall. Half were in a Reserve Mini Suite and half in a suite. I am seriously thinking of cancelling after seeing the videos. Don't mean this as a threat - just a comment. 😢
  7. Thanks! Are there any loungers in the shade in either area of the Sanctuary? From your video and others I've seen NONE of the loungers are in the shade.
  8. SO disappointed that there seem to be little or no shaded loungers in the Sanctuary, even in the suite area. 🥵 The Sanctuary used to be our favorite place on the ship. This one looks neither peaceful, quiet or shaded. And the loungers in the "regular" area are the same hard ones as all over the ship! 😡 Has anyone posted prices for the cabanas (which seem to be the only quiet, shady places left)? ****
  9. $99 for ALL the sea days or per day? That's some jump from $40! 😡 Am I the only one who noticed that the chairs on the deck of a supposed suite (this is from an S9) are much skimpier and uncomfortable looking than the chairs on a deluxe balcony. 😡 17604 below
  10. I didn't realize that the Dome pool is half indoors and half outdoors.
  11. I think that category was for 2 cabins on the aft of each floor so this, even if true, would affect 10 -12 people or so on the whole ship.
  12. FWIW - We have an S9 booked and when I clicked on description it showed either the description or the picture for a Deluxe Cabana cabin. (It was a while ago and I know it's wrong so haven't rechecked in a while) .I commented on that much earlier in this thread. I'm only saying this to highlight that, yes, there are still some wonky things in the cabin designations of the Sun.
  13. Go back and re-check my post. I added a picture to clarify which balcony I'm referring to. *
  14. Those large balconies that are overlooked have full loungers (rather than just chairs) on them, making me think they are suites. Is there anywhere on the ship that that would happen? I would be pretty upset if I paid for a large suite with a huge balcony, only to have it totally overlooked by another balcony!
  15. What does delicia mean in english delight , pleasure delight , pleasure. Esta música é uma delícia. This music is a delight. (Translation of delícia from the GLOBAL Portuguese–English Dictionary © 2018 K Dictionaries Ltd)
  16. On the Sapphire the juice bar was out by the pool. Juice bar in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon. We had one smoothie ( on a 32 day cruise!) but several days we got either fresh squeezed oj or grapefruit juice. And they do make them from the fruit itself right in front of you.
  17. But they had the wine displayed upside down. Wine should always be stored cork down. Glad they emptied the rack. Did anyone else think Sabatini's was HUGE compared to other ships?
  18. Princess never said there was diesel fuel in the water. That statement was from an Italian newspaper that a poster on here found. I remember saying, many years ago, (and many, many Princess cruises ago!!) that I would never sail Princess again because they started to charge for Cappucinos! 🤣 *****
  19. No, it's for luggage, not humans. Luggage Valet covers getting your luggage from outside of your cabin to the airport (so the next time you see it will be at your home airport.) It means that when you leave the ship you won't have to claim your luggage in the cruise terminal, drag it through customs, load it into and out of a cab or wait in line to check it in at the airport. It's the best $29 you will ever spend. NOTE: It's $29/pp and covers 2 or 3 bags per person (I can't remember which) If your airline charges for bags that will be an additional charge. ***
  20. You're correct that the dining rooms are not so crowded at breakfast but the advantage of the Reserve dining room is that you'll get the same waitstaff and they know your likes and dislikes. If you prefer to be anonymous just go to the MDR instead.
  21. I’m wondering if it was either Australia or just your particular cruise. We were on the recent Sapphire 32 day LA- Tahiti cruise ( that I think we did with you about 4 years ago) and hung out at the Wheelhouse because of the absolutely wonderful crew ( kudos to David and Jean!!!!) there and there were 3 people every night who would show up around 10 and ask how many they had left ( it was usually 2 or 3) and then proceed to consume those few. BTW - none of them ever appeared to be at all intoxicated, which I found amazing. So at least in the Sapphire the 15 drink limit was upheld.
  22. AND you should also know that with the Plus package it covers the room service charge (I think it's 5.95 per delivery if you order on the phone) and the delivery charge (14.99 per cruise) to order food or drink delivered to you via the Medallion anywhere on the ship. *******
  23. Not at all !!!!!!!! I'm REALLY sorry if it came off that way. I just expected the thread to blow up and was surprised when it didn't.
