The importance of Glacier Bay is that I have not yet heard of a cruise missing it because of too much ice or fog. My first Alaska cruise was a B2B that visited college Fjord, Hubband, and Glacier Bay x2 in early June. The second was also a B2B but this time in July, and we missed Hubbard due to pea soup fog. EM

Debark luggage tags have numbers on them. The luggage areas in the luggage hall have numbers. Your bag would be in the area for that number. They debark the luggage by number, and do not call the group number until that number luggage is in the hall. Of course there will always be lines of people who got off before their number thinking to beat the rush, and then have to wait for their ,luggage…EM

Schools restart here in the south in early August…but they get out mid-May. When I lived in NYC they went until late June, but started later also. I might speculate you would have more kids in late August from NYC. It’s a gamble. EM
