  1. The best deal in cruising these days is on MSC. EM
  2. Get some pics if there is any daylight yet. Please. EM
  3. Bet the Port Canaveral webcam will be overloaded with folks looking for her wounded arrival. EM
  4. There are accessible suites in YC. They probably won’t let you book them online, to prevent people who don’t need them from booking for the extra space. EM
  5. The importance of Glacier Bay is that I have not yet heard of a cruise missing it because of too much ice or fog. My first Alaska cruise was a B2B that visited college Fjord, Hubband, and Glacier Bay x2 in early June. The second was also a B2B but this time in July, and we missed Hubbard due to pea soup fog. EM
  6. You don’t know until you ask in the shop. I have done it with a separate card when I didn’t want all of the charges on the same card. EM
  7. The thing about Conquest was she was not yet back in service so was immediately available. EM
  8. I haven’t seen any kids area at Ocean Cay…but I never got to Bimini Beach or the YC area. I think kids are just expected to go swimming…. EM
  9. Conch Republic naval exercises. EM
  10. Cunard. HAL ships up through Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam. Princess all ships older than Royal class. Carnival Dream Class, partial on Spirit class. MSC Sea class. MSC Fantasia class, sides only, no views. Crystal. EM
  11. I don’t believe it will be a B2B, as he is on Seascape from Miami this week, and Seashore from Port Canaveral next week. EM
  12. I suffer from both, at times. I found the Metamucil compounds to make it worse. My gastro said to take FiberCon, two tabs a day, perhaps not at the same time, so I take one at noon and one at bedtime. It is calcium polycarbophil, sold by Walmart as Fiber Therapy. EM
  13. Debark luggage tags have numbers on them. The luggage areas in the luggage hall have numbers. Your bag would be in the area for that number. They debark the luggage by number, and do not call the group number until that number luggage is in the hall. Of course there will always be lines of people who got off before their number thinking to beat the rush, and then have to wait for their ,luggage…EM
  14. Perhaps, if you are asking whether it will work. But apparently the OP has made it work in the past, but now finding it might not be permitted. Most of the questions about routers on the boards are ‘will it work?’, not ‘is it permitted’. One cruiser seemed to be able to use it on one or more lines, but could not connect on MSC. EM
  15. Schools restart here in the south in early August…but they get out mid-May. When I lived in NYC they went until late June, but started later also. I might speculate you would have more kids in late August from NYC. It’s a gamble. EM
  16. It seems to me that the person guarding the door to the restaurant should have known the pool buffet was still available and suggested you go there. Might be something you suggest…. EM
  17. Look for a Live from thread for Fun Times. They used to have late night snacks at the Guy Fieri location…EM
  18. From Brooklyn, the main language will be English, with other language announcements depending on the percent of guests from those areas. Food is subjective. Never had a drink package on any line. I think balcony rooms are large. Suggest you read a lot of threads here, particularly the Live From that are not Yacht Club. @JamieLogicalcan answer a lot of your questions. EM
  19. There will be coffee in the Lido buffet 24/7. And you can always get it from room service. EM
  20. I renewed in 2022 and it only took days, no interview. I had to update passport info the next year. EM
  21. You might ask on the Ports of Call board for Caribbean. EM
  22. When I booked online I was able to make final payment online. But when I called MSC and booked through the phone, I had to call them to make payment. Even though it wasn’t a real travel agent. EM
