  1. MSC has cigar rooms on a number of their ships. In the Lirica class, there are lounges on Armonia and Sinfonia. All of the Musica class have one. I can’t recall if there was one on Divina, and I don’t remember seeing one on Seaside. I’m not familiar with the other classes, but a question on the MSC board here might get you some answers. All have gyms, don’t know what constitutes good. Being an Italian line they do a lot in the Med. EM Just checked and Divina and others in the Fantasia class have a cigar lounge just aft of the casino.
  2. Seems to show up daily after sundown…
  3. We visited Split twice, and found it quite interesting. Back when we were there is was a tender port (2012 $ 2013). But the tender let you off right in town. Understand there is a pier now, but it’s quite a walk to town. EM
  4. Seashore is still in the Med, soon to leave on her TA. First cruise from Port Canaveral in Nov. 16, although she is visiting several Caribbean islands on the TA before arriving in Port Canaveral. EM
  5. I don’t know that either of my cruises were off peak. Celebrity Summit was June 4-11, Seaside was August 13-20. EM
  6. Ask on the Florida Departures board, under North American Homeports
  7. I booked my Seaside cruises almost within final payment. I bid up on both, and won Aurea balcony both times. I compared the total fare plus bid to the current booking price, and it was a considerable saving. Also, the total fare plus upgrade for the B2B cruises totaling 7 days was less than what I paid for my previous cruise of 7 days on Summit to Bermuda in an inside cabin. EM
  8. If you have sailed in the YC before on the same ship, take your previous bracelet along. It can be re-programmed for the new cruise. The bracelet does have muster station printed on it, but I imagine all YC uses the same muster station. I did a B2B on Seaside, not in YC, and changed cabins for the second cruise. They just reprogrammed the bracelet. EM
  9. Check to West Coast departures board, under North American Homeports
  10. Ask on the Florida Departures board, under North American Homeports. Addressed there daily. EM
  11. I haven’t sailed Meraviglia but on Seaside with three dining times, the shows also played three times in the evening. EM
  12. There is already another post about this, from last Friday, I think. So far MSC has not revealed future plans with the ships. EM
  13. If you do not have a drinks package, sodas will be served in cans. ‘Diet Coke on the rocks with a twist of lime’ is my choice. It costs about $4, high seas robbery, but I don’t even have one a day. If you have a drinks package I believe some ships have self serve soda machines, like in fast food places, located in the buffet. On US cruises you will be served water with meals in the MDR. It may either be room temp from a bottle (Acqua Panna on Seaside in August), or ice water from a pitcher. You can also ask for iced tea. I don’t drink milk so I can’t answer that. In the buffet they will have the juice machines at breakfast, and by lunch will have switched over to lemonade and iced tea. Ice and water always available in buffet. The buffet will be open when at Ocean Cay, but the MDR not for lunch, only breakfast and dinner. EM
  14. Looking at pics of the promenade deck on cruisedeckplans I see a wide deck but no seating. EM
  15. Another all nighter. Maybe that Christmas bonus? ‘daylight come and I wanna go home’. 🎶
  16. Another all nighter ‘daylight come and I wanna go home’🎶
  17. Even when I’ve been awake, it was too dark to see anything. EM
  18. They have kiosks onboard to register your credit card, and will take your picture at checkin, probably even if you got the app to take one.
  19. I’m on an iPad and nothing is bolted in your examples. EM Trying it on my Surface Pro. All of this it typed supposedly in BOLD . Nothing Now on my desktop in Chrome. No bold here either.
  20. Appears not to be. I was able to use italics and underline but nothing with bold. EM
