  1. It's pretty easy. Only things on this chart can be done. All the "fancy" categories don't qualify!
  2. It's not supposed to. What is the promo listed on your Guest invoice? But I wouldn't complain. But I don't have a clue what the Celebrity corporate office is doing to the business now.
  3. On occasion the Celebrity rep who actually changes the booking doesn't understand and doesn't updated it properly. I have had this on occasion (I only complain when it should be increased!). Here is the chart.
  4. I also have moved many onboard bookings and never lose the onboard booking OBC. It does sometimes get dropped when they remove all the other promotions but is easily restored. It does of course get adjusted to the amount appropriate for the new sailing length and category. The TA does have to call to make the change. They can't cancel and rebook as you have to retain the same booking number. The Celebrity Invoice will have Onboard Booking at the top. They just need to add back the appropriate promo.
  5. I think the issue with the TA is more not being knowledgeable about the cruise later certificate. Probably not grounds for pulling the reservation from a TA unless the TA agrees to give it up. I assume the invoice stating the $900 deposit $200 paid is an invoice from the TA as I looked at my Celebrity Guest Invoice and it doesn't state the deposit amount. To be sure I would request the OP as the TA to provide the Celebrity Guest Invoice in addition. Most TAs will do this, another red flag if they won't.
  6. Yes unless specified at the time of booking onboard the new reservation is assigned to the TA who booked that sailing. Since you paid the deposit onboard you owe no more money on the reservation until final payment. If you cancel your NRD anytime before final payment is made you will only be out the $200. This does bring up the case that if you make final payment early (prior to the actual final payment date) and you then cancel before the Celebrity final payment date you will be out the full deposit of $900 and the remainder would be refunded as you aren't in the penalty phase yet. For this reason I wouldn't make final payment until a day or 2 before the date given on your Celebrity invoice. Some TA's ask for it 2-4 weeks early to make sure it all goes through ok. Given what you have described I would also be looking for a new TA and make sure if booking onboard again to make sure that they assign to your new TA or just keep it with Celebrity and shop for a TA when you get home. You have 30 days to assign to a TA after booking.
  7. The transactions are listed on the app if you hit details while viewing the summary of your account. The venue and a $0 is listed. Sometimes the venue doesn't make sense as the bar server may have keyed it in at a remote bar.
  8. I was responding to the post directly above mine by @Guindalf which I quoted.
  9. MoveUp to a suite from a cruise only rate only gets you drinks in the Retreat lounge. Luminae and Sundeck use whatever drink package you have and you have to show your card (at least once).
  10. To get missing cruise points added I believe you have to provide some sort of proof you sailed. A seapass card, dated photo on the ship, folio etc.
  11. I was surprised that Oceania seems to have the most liberal policy. Seems to be one of the more popular destinations for people "moving up" from Celebrity.
  12. So why are they changing on this set of sailings?
  13. When we disembarked in May the earliest flight supported by Celebrity transfers to VCE was 12:15 pm.
  14. @killarneylady As it seems you have done everything you should to have these sailing applied and you aren't getting any response I think it would be appropriate to escalate to the head of the Captains Club program Andrea Shey ashey@celebrity.com
  15. It looks like they are recalculating the T/F for the entire sailing on the affected cruises. Otherwise they would have all gone up a fixed amount based on the number of stops in the Bahamas.
  16. Another reason to avoid itineraries with stops in Bahamas. I have not received refunds for port fees for missed ports since the restart. Several sailings right after the restart had missed ports. So are we just one step from getting the letter that cruise fare has increased, sorry for your inconvenience but you owe us $600?
  17. When you are viewing the Xpress pass on the app there is place which asks if you want to add it to wallet, much like boarding passes on airline apps.
  18. If not just screen shot it when displayed on the app and save it in photos.
  19. Ships are pretty much the same. I'd take the 9 day for the extra day. Have done that Equinox itinerary many times. Love ABC islands.
  20. We disembarked in Ravenna in May and took the Celebrity transfer to Bologna train station as we were flying out the next morning. The bus ride was quite pleasant (for a bus transfer) and just over an hour. Our time in Bologna was enjoyable.
  21. It really comes down to the ship having a Retreat sundeck. There always used to only be 1 Retreat concierge. When they introduced Edge class ships they added another 1-2 since there are so many suites. When older ships got Revolutionized and the sundeck added they increased to 2 Retreat concierges. Since Solstice hasn't been Revolutionized I would only expect 1.
  22. If they don't catch it please don't use it on a ship. They can melt and catch fire
  23. Call (844) 571-7851 (US & Canada), (801) 666-3031 (international), or email us at privatejourneys@celebrity.com to start planning your own Private Journey.…
  24. It would be interesting to know what the casino manager thinks about all this....... BTW. I think the definition of port side on a ship is pretty standard. Draw an imaginary line down the center of the ship, anything to the left of that when looking forward is port side. Drawing that imaginary line through the center of the casino would indeed split the tables. Anyway the port side of the casino is completely open to the main corridor which seems to me to be a bad idea as it exposes even the non-casino passengers. Plus I'm sure the casino bar would be a hot spot for vaping even though they specify actively playing.
  25. Many categories are excluded. Here is the graphic of what 1 category upgrades are available. The way it works is you book the higher category and pay the lower category price. One caveat is that there has to be rooms available in both categories.
