  1. We also book the other on both. If memory serves me correct, you might not get the same cruise credits.
  2. My brother in law is a gastroenterologist. He unfortunately has treated many patients with this condition. Of course he will do a stool sample and send it out tomorrow
  3. This isn't BS I would have never stayed- but they did! I would make such a fuss they might have to throw me off the ship! Sometimes you can be too nice and understanding- not me! lol Bet others left!
  4. Yes. And if you read my other reviews for both celebrity and royal, that was my only disappointment with a cruise. I am a glass half full person and typically have a good time! Since I have another celebrity cruise in two weeks I am truly looking foward to it!
  5. They did! I couldn’t believe it either! Boy would I have been at guest services to speak to a manager. Horrible
  6. We have an Icon cruise booked for 2024. Crossing my fingers that the line will get it together by then. Ship expensive for an entry level suite xxx
  7. To demonstrate that i have sailed many times on royal ships and celebrity. Over 20 on each including four on oasis of the seas. My only not great cruise was on the adventure last may. Old ship cabins in bad shape problems with plumbing. mDR food poor
  8. Since you aren't cruising until next January, clearly things will change- I would ask this question in November and December . Enjoy your cruise.
  9. We will be on the Apex in less then two weeks. We also are staying at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas. We know about the construction as some was going on in December during our last cruise. We will make sure our room doesn't face the front of the hotel to avoid any noise- however, by dark the construction will cease and we are early risers- not concerned. Love the location and the hotel.
  10. If price is not an option, I would consider a suite. A much better experience. They have accessible suite cabins. Enjoy
  11. My sister and her family are current on the Oasis. One of our favorite Royal Ships. We are again booked on it in August. They are very disappointed with the food and service on the cruise this week. First, my brother in law got food poisoning. Traced back to an indian fish dish on the buffet- lasted 24 hours, he is ok now. Last night, they dined in Chops, one of our favorite specialty restaurants. They arrrived at 6:30. The waiter was working on 10 tables! By 8:30 the waiter brought them their main course, forgot to bring the salad and appetizers! The main course was overcooked. Overall they reported that the food in all venues was mediocre at best and the service lacking. We usually take the unlimited dining package, but now- I wonder if we should consider canceling this cruise and consider other options. We are diamond plus with Royal and Elite plus with Celebrity.
  12. I understand your dismay. However, when I now go food shopping, I feel I spend 50% more. Everything is now so expensive, our utilities cost a joke!. I am glad that we still can get a wonderful cruise experience on Celebrity. Our favorite cruise line. Will either pay a fee for the "hot" breakfast- go to the restaurant or buffet. Honestly the lobster tails weren't that good- not large New England tails- Carnival is a bad experience even withfree lobster daily. No comparison.
  13. Agree bidding for AQ IMO not worth it- book specialty restaurant package instead. Same cabin with a few alleged perks- used persian garden once- blu not great.
  14. On the older ships like the adventure and the enchantment IMO a large Jr. suite is perfect. No real suite perks that are important. However on a ship that is Oasis class a big difference. Years ago, I would agree with you, but since we now only book suites it is a big deal. It makes the trip so much nicer having a true suite lounge, deck and restaurant. Not to mention the other perks. However it all depends on your budget of course. If you can afford it- do it. If not don't.
  15. Yes I know. Have done all inclusive photos for years- but the rates climbing so high- no longer worth it- to me- the photographers used to be creative and available- now- seem to be just doing their job. Stick to my good phone camera.
  16. bring with you. Our Dr. gives us a prescription at home and we fill it and bring it. Also bring covid test kits. Unfortunately, people are still getting covid on board.
  17. Shouldn't be an issue- however really inexpensive on port days- why not rent two?
  18. I would have asked for a full refund!
  19. The attendants also brought us lunch A limited menu but fine! In the future, contact the service desk downstairs. Crazy
  20. Why didn't you call somebody? The attendants are in the Lawn club grill. On S class ships use the phone in your alcove . I would have at least gone to the guest services desk. We got our fruit and cheese plates, drinks brought to us (included in the drink package) and a bottle of bubbly. water and we do not drink beer. We loved it.
  21. We got off the Apex in January and will board again in March. Love the retreat- spent lots of time on the Retreat sun deck and the lounge. The restaurant was good- but we much prefer the specialty restaurants for dinner. However the ship appeared full- in the suite area. We do like it on the other classes of ships, but nothing like the edge class.
  22. Do as soon as you board. Go to the MDR immediately.
  23. We used to enjoy the picture packages. Celebrity got cheap. Will not do anymore
  24. Great bargain on a shore day- More then six people can fit and typically most people rotate and the kids typically spend time at the pool.
  25. We sailed on the Equinox about a year ago and loved it. I also did the glass blowing and it was fun. However still so much covid on board, on our last cruise- many people from our group in January reported they got covid. We have another cruise in two weeks, I will wear my mask in crowded venues, especially the elevator.
