They are so helpful. I put all hats and caps on them. Also my seapass cards. I use to hang important memos on also. My beach robe and swimsuit to dry- Also my beach bags. Great to buy heavy duty types. I use in bathroom to hang a clip clothes line in the bathroom

We enjoy being near the elevators. Like cabins above and below. Also, get a cabin without a connecting door if possible and not across from a staff area- Enjoy your cruise.

What is your favorite RCI ship ?
Cruise a holic replied to lenquixote66's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Our favorite is the Harmony of the Seas- really all Oasis class. We aren't fans of the old ships. Went on Adventure of the seas last summer so disappointing- old - run down staterooms. Never again. -
Wrinkle sprays like Downy pretty good. Steam bathroom by running hot water in shower or pay for pressing services. Worth a few dollars for those pieces you care about. We allow a misc fund for laundry and dry cleaning on our cruises.

"Just" a Balcony. Will I Feel Like a Second Class Citizen?
Cruise a holic replied to land64shark's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have sailed in a suite and balcony cabin. We truly enjoyed luminae and then Michael's club. Of course the suite is larger. We didn't have a retreat deck, but heard on S class ships not like e-class ships. We will be sailing in a balcony our next silhouette sailing. We plan on dining in specialty restaurants for dinner. We like the solarium and will have no problem with a balcony cabin. Every cruise on Celebrity is a joy. -
We take the dining package and have dinner nightly in the specialty restaurants. So much better IMO the all of the regular and suite dining rooms. This past cruise we were disappointed at the rooftop grill on the Apex. Poor service. People using the restaurant as a public area walking in-between the tables to get to different parts of the rooftop. This area should be cordoned off to prevent this.

Apex: Eden dinner menu question
Cruise a holic replied to noahrussell87's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Eden our favorite restaurant. The salad is a show. Can be shared. Also loved the mulligatawny soup. It was the best! We went to Eden twice and I had it both times. Everything was wonderful! Best service IMO of all of the specialty restaurants. Enjoy -
We sailed the week before you. A great ship with a wonderful staff. We especially loved dinner at Eden- dined twice their. I loved the suite lounge and retreat deck! Concierge ladies, Elana, Jet and Carolyne wonderful! I am sure they are treating you well!

Ladies...Have the Celebrity Fashion Police Gotten to you?
Cruise a holic replied to Nashna's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We were on the apex and they made everyone- remove their hats in the dining rooms. -
Note the "balcony" cabins are, with the exception of aft balconies are infinite balconies. They are window cabins, with a window that can open. However if the weather is bad the captain will close the window. Also, if the doors that are an entrance to this part of the stateroom are open, the A/C in the room shuts off. I am sure you can see this on line. Also the ship has a few cove balconies near the front of the ship. This is a balcony with a big round window that is semi enclosed.

Incorrect information. Call captains club. You do not get xtra cc points, but access to luminae and suites you get
-

Asking for recent Reflection Acqua Class Blu opinions/advice
Cruise a holic replied to Mustsea's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Not a fan of blu. We used to sail in AQ but have for a few years now only travel in suites. We found the tables for two on top of each other, like a row of community dining. People were chiming into our conversation. Also the food was the same old same old year after year. While the positives about blew is that it isn't a big catering hall dining room, food meh,. If I couldn't do a suite, I would book a decent balcony cabin, which is basically the same as AQ less a few, IMO unnecessary touches. I would book speciality restaurants with the money saved. Also we used the spa aqua facilities once- for about 1/2 an hour. You can purchase a day pass if you want to try it also. If you need the captains club points, consider a concierge class cabin, which is typically a little more then a regular balcony cabin. Enjoy your cruise. -
Calling grandparents that bring grandchildren
Cruise a holic replied to Norwaylady's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have taken our grandchildren on cruises- We have ten and have taken one or two at a time. Youngest was 10. We had their passports and a notorized letter from their parents giving us permission to take them with us. Figured necessary for airlines and cruiselines. Nobody asked to see it- be we had it. They didn't need any visa's or other documentation in the caribbean then. But check with cruise line or your travel agent for the latest requirements. They each loved the cruise and it was a great bonding experience. We of course took a picture package and when home created an album for each of them from an on-line vendor. Great memories! -
You should leave the grats and if you have a great cabin steward- give additional at the end of your cruise. Regardless of the age of the passengers.

Labadee - Beach Lounger for Two
Cruise a holic replied to PCWalton1's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We like Nellie's beach- IMO best beach for non-suite guests and the water is calm. Only negative is that it is near a water park and lots of people like Nellies beach. So it can be crowded. -
Live from The Beyond, March 5th to 12th
Cruise a holic replied to Ripheus's topic in Celebrity Cruises
While not by the pier, we love the Riverside Hotel on Las olas Blvd. So many restaurants , galleries and shops on las olas blvd- the hotel itself offers a few very good restaurants- one with a robot bringing your order! They have a pool, gym and bars some with happy hour discounts, along with great service. If you book the historic wing cheaper then the new tower. I don't understand why some people want to be very near the port as nobody walks their- It takes about 15 minutes from las Olas by uber to the pier and it is so worth it. We previously stayed at hotel that we saw the cruise ships previously, but it was in an area that didn't appear very safe to me so we couldn't walk around.
