  1. Thanks Charles! My MIL will be happy.
  2. I tried the search feature, but couldn't locate a post on this. Does anyone know if the ship casino is open while in port in Bermuda? If yes, do you know the hours it's open?
  3. My MIL left her purse next to a slot machine and didn't realize it until halfway through dinner. We went to the casino and it wasn't there. Went to the cashier and was told no-one turned anything in. Went to guest relations and they said not there, but they would check around. We went back to the cabin and there was a phone message asking her to call and ask for a specific person at guest relations. Sure enough it was located. Someone brought it to the cabin and waited for her to look through the bag to be sure everything was there. Quite a relief.
  4. I know it's not the best quality bubbly, but we have a tradition of making a quick toast before dropping off our carry ons. Maybe those of you who report this as missing could mention it on the comment cards. If enough people comment the practice may return for future cruises.
  5. Best wishes for you both in your new home! I hope you enjoy your cruise.
  6. We've cruised on M class ships with 3 in the cabin (adult DS) several times. If there is a love seat sized couch it will fold out like a convertible couch. If it's full length couch, then each night the cabin attendant will take off the pillow backs and make up the couch like a bed. Your daughter should fit fine. On days we spent by the pool we used the showers at the spa before returning to our cabin.
  7. Yes, you can swap between multiple devices as long as you don't need for both of you to be online at the same time. Just use the same log in name and password on both devices. As an FYI, you can both still use the Celebrity app on your devices, even if the other is online. We enjoy visiting the Persian Gardens once or twice during a cruise. However, it isn't all that large and can get crowded on sea days. You can take a tour once onboard before purchasing access. There are heated tile beds that you lie on to ease sore muscles. Also a couple of steam rooms and special showers, where you can experience different temperatures and fragrances. I believe there's a free sauna available to anyone located in the spa locker room.
  8. Last time we stayed in a concierge cabin we asked our cabin steward if we could have cheese and fruit instead of canapés. He happily complied. We traded in our bottle of bubbly for a bottle of red wine. We’ve also brought our unopened bottle to the dining room and received a credit toward a bottle of our choice that we enjoyed with our dinner.
  9. Thanks for the edits and also thanks to tschwa2 for posting the 2nd article. I absolutely think this is a great idea. It never made sense to me that we could spend $400+/pp for a specialty dining plan and get shut out of reasonable dining options, when a person can book 1 restaurant for 1 night and reserve a preferred time at a restaurant of their choice. I understand we get a discount for multiple nights, but seems weird to be penalized after spending so much $.
  10. I can't seem to locate the post you are referencing. Can you provide a link? Are you saying RCL intends to allow passengers who purchase a dining package, including the unlimited package, to make reservations prior to the start of their cruise?
  11. When you click the save the date tab it brings you to a calendar page that says Nov 7th at 10:30am.
  12. My cruise shows $32.99/night/pp- no sale rate. I don't see any reference to XPass in the WiFi section.
  13. Wow, those are nice specials!
  14. I was reading the news this morning and thought to myself, the Caribbean cruise season will be very busy this year.
  15. What kind of dishes did they offer as specials in MDR?
  16. Thank you for the heads up! I have a cruise to pay off this month. I'll just do it 2 weeks early.
  17. OK, so you know more than I do. I guess I need to stop sharing my personal opinions.
  18. I obviously didn't mean literally full. Next time I'll correctly post mostly full. There are always some cabins available, which is why there is a move up program.
  19. We cruised in on Silhouette in Nov 2019 and attended the daily (except embarkation) HH in the Skylounge. We had to order off the CC menu, but the # of drinks were not limited. There were no vouchers that cruise. I agree with what you stated, this isn't a new benefit, but a reinstated and reduced benefit.
  20. If you win a C2 cabin via move up and you see a different C2 cabin that is still open then call and ask to move to the open cabin. We've done this several times since restart, even when the ship was full. Maybe we've just been lucky 🤷‍♂️
  21. We've found quite a few great deals via the Exciting Deals link that binro01 posted. Just be sure you understand those are Sail Only rates. You need to add in the cost of gratuities. If you want a drink package or internet package, then you also have to add that in too.
  22. Sorry if my questions seem redundant, but some of the aboe posts seem like they are referencing booking a specific restaurant precruise. Did you purchase a multi-night specialty dining package precruise? Were you able to use the app to choose the restaurant and dining times for your specialty dining package? If yes then I'd definitely plan to try this on our next cruise.
  23. Pre-covid we were still working full time, but managed to average 2 cruises per year with X: one long + one 7-night Caribbean each year. We thought we'd be doing lots of cruising when we retired, but we now find we have different obligations that keep us close to home most of the time. All of our cruises since the reopening have been with X, but we've also taken several land trips. 2022- 4 cruises + 1 land; 2023- 1 cruise + 2 land; 2024- 1 cruise + 1 land. All still booked with X. Cost is a factor for us so we book verandas.
