My sister and I both need to apply for the Australia and NZ ETA for our cruise. Do we need to download the 2 apps on each of our own cell phone or I can just get the app on my cell phone and use it to separately apply for both of us?

In 1st week of April, I will fly to Sydney, stay in Sydney for a day, then will board Majestic Princess. The itinerary includes 3 New Zealand ports (will finish all NZ ports by April 10). I hold a U.S passport. I have a few questions for Australia and New Zealand visas. 1. Can I apply for ETA for both countries? 2. Can I apply online for both of the ETAs or must download an App? 3. I want to play it safe, so I would like to apply for the visa or ETA as soon as allowed, just in case there is a delay in processing. I read on another website that tourist visa for NZ and Australia can take 2 days to 20 days. So, how soon can I apply for the ETA for it to be still valid to use in April? Sorry, just want to confirm if I understood it correctly. So, there was liquid hand soap on the bathroom sink and not bar soap? I don't like bar soap and had always brought an empty liquid soap bottle with me and then ask the cabin steward to fill it up for me with liquid soap (on my last Regal cruise, he filled it with bath gel). On the Discovery Princess cruise I just got off last week, there was liquid soap and not bar soap on the bathroom sink.

Are you on the Discovery now? If so, have you tried using your LG universal remote and successfully got the HDMI connection. I got off from the Discovery last Saturday, and as I mentioned in my previous posts, during my 16 days on the Discovery, I tried everything I can think of, and still was not able to connect to HDMI. Now, I am thinking to buy the LG universal remote like others suggested, so I will be able to connect to HDMI for my next Discovery cruise in April. Before going to Amazon and try to find/buy that remote, it will be nice to know if having the remote will solve the connection problem. Thank you for any comments.

Was your original cabin a balcony cabin? I wonder if one booked a mini suite, if need to go into isolation, will Princess also give them a mini suite?

Arxcards, I just read your detailed review and noticed you talked about the plugs in your mini-suite. We will have a mini suite on our April Majestic cruise and would like to know if the plugs on the Majestic is the same as what we now have in our mini suite on Discovery?

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. We embarked on 10/26 also, and now still on the ship. Will disembark on 11/14. The current 5-day cruise also full and I was told the next 4 days cruise (11/10-11/14) also full. We double-masked all the time. Also tested ourself with the home kit every 4 days. So far we are okay, and hope will remain that way.

I guess I will just purchase the pre-cruise bottled water, just like my prior cruises. It is 12-pk of 500ml for $7.08. If purchase after on the ship, then it is $2/bottle.

Thank you. We eat in the buffet quite often, and the water there has strong chlorine taste (at least on the 10+ Princess ships that we cruised).

Arxcards, When you were on Majestic, do you remember seeing the new filter water machine in the buffet area? I am currently on Discovery and it has that machine. I will be on Majestic next April for 27 days, and if Majestic has that machine, then I will not pre-purchase my bottled water from Princess (6 bottles of 500ml for $7 USD). Thank you

You are most welcome! If there are other choices, I suggest taking another cabin. Besides that “crew only” next to you, as soon as you turn the corner, that is the storage room for towels and other items. Cabin stewards in and out all the time with their carts.
