  1. Do you remember the total oz of the San Pellegrino? I was told Perrier is 11.15 oz. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the link. Just checked and my test kit is one of the approved ones.
  3. My apologies if I offended anyone! Honestly, I NEVER once think the world revolves around U.S. visitors!! I have stayed in many 5-star hotels around the world, and definitely came across some of those hotels' menus pricing in USD. The reason I asked was because Four Seasons is a 5-star hotel, and Mode Kitchen menu prices seem kind of low if they are priced in AUD; so I thought maybe the pricing is in USD. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
  4. I have many RAT home kits, and do plan to bring a few boxes. But I am not sure if I will be allowed to bring them in my carry on bag from U.S. to Australia. My friend told me Australia is very strict on what can be brought in. So I asked where to buy them by the hotel just in case my test kits not allowed at the airport. Thanks.
  5. I always posted my questions on the Ports section; but this time, I noticed there was no reply and then I found this section, so decided to give it a try and am so glad I did. So many nice people here.
  6. My most sincere thank you to all of you for being so patience and answered so many of my questions!! I admit I do over-plan when ever DIY a country that I visit for the first time; mainly because I would like to have as few "unexpected" as possible. I am glad I booked my hotel and my flight. I will work on what to do at each port after I return from my 16-day Mexican Riviera cruise on the Discovery Princess which will start in about 2 weeks. There are 5 ports that we will visit on the Mexican cruise, and so far, I only planned DIY on the first port. Better work fast on the remaining ports. LOL For the cruise that will start in Sydney next April, it will be a 27-day cruise from Sydney to Los Angeles with 7 ports (3 NZ ports, Tahiti, and 3 Hawaii ports). Will be my first time to all 7 ports, so a lot of planning will need to be done. Stay safe and happy!! ☺️
  7. Thanks. Hopefully, Discovery (in about 2 weeks) room service will allow me to exchange all to Perrier water.
  8. Once again, a big thank you to all of you for the information and suggestions!! I summarized what I learned from all of you, please correct me if I misunderstood the information I collected. I decided and booked the Four Seasons Hotel, so the statements below are based on I staying at that hotel. 1. From the hotel to the OPT, it is about 500 meters (about 10 minutes walk) on flat ground. Can easily find the OPT without getting lost. 2. Airport is about 30 minutes taxi ride for about AUD $60. 3. There are convenient stores (where I can buy bottled water and snacks) within 10 minutes walking distance. 4. There are many casual eating places/restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. 5. All listed price everywhere included taxes and charges and tips. If happy with service, give cash tips. 6. Credit cards are widely accepted with no minimum purchases required to use the card. Sorry, a few more questions: 1. My hotel confirmation indicated there will be a 2% service charge if pay with credit card. Is 1.5-2% service card a common practice everywhere in Sydney if pay with credit card? 2. Any store nearby that I can buy Rapid Antigen Test home kit? Princess requires RAT negative result within 24 hour of embarkation the ship; results from home test kit will be acceptable. 3. ATM nearby? If not, need to use the ATM at the airport. 4. At the airport (international arrival), is it a long walk to the location to get taxi? 5. Uber service available at the airport? If so, same pickup area as the taxis? At Los Angeles airport, Uber pickup is in a totally different area than taxi pickup, and a much longer walk to get there. Thank you!!
  9. Perrier water is 8 or 12 or 16 oz? I am thinking of exchanging all 20 items for 20 bottles of Perrier water or San Pellegrino (preferred choice) water on my upcoming Discovery Princess cruise (in about 2 weeks). Thank you.
  10. I have many RAT home test kit at home. Can we bring home test kit on a flight from the U.S. to Sydney and use it for testing to meet the cruise line requirements?
  11. $130pp meal, still need to add sales taxes and gratuities? Thanks.
  12. Just checked the menu of the Mode Kitchen and bar (website below). Since you ate there often, just curious to know if the price showing on the menu is AUD or USD. For example, the first combo on the menu showing $130pp, is that AUD or USD? Thanks. https://modekitchenandbar.com.au/contemporary-dining-menu/dinner-2/
  13. We don't drink. Maybe worth it to buy a drink just to see the "Gorgeous men".🤣
  14. Thank you. Took your suggestion and just booked the Four Seasons Hotel harbour view room.
  15. Thank you everyone for your information and suggestions!! ☺️ Based on information/suggestions received, I decided and just booked, the Four Seasons Hotel. Will definitely try the Mode Kitchen.
  16. Thank you for all your answers. You said "a lot of people don't have any cash", so if I go to a convenient store just to buy maybe 2 bottled water, I can still pay with credit card? Or go to market to buy a few fruits, also can pay with credit card? Someone in other thread suggested Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, do you know how far is the walk from the Four Seasons to OPT? From Rydges or Four Season walking to the OPT, is it an easy walk (for example, smooth roads OR rough roads with lots of uneven pavement)?
  17. Thank you for your reply!! How long to walk from the Rydges... to the OPT? Is it an easy walk (smooth road)? Also, any convenient store (for water and snacks) and casual eating places (for lunch and dinner) by the Rydges...?
  18. Thank you for your reply!! Is the Oversea Passenger Terminal within walking distance from the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney? If so, how long to walk and is it an easy walk (smooth road)? If not within walking distance, how long for a taxi ride? Also, any convenient store (for water and snacks) and casual eating places (for lunch and dinner) by the Four Seasons Hotel?
  19. Thank you for the link. I noticed you live in Sydney, can you also help me with the following questions. Much appreciation!! Questions: 1. How far is the ride from the airport to the the Rydges Sydney Harbour hotel? 2. If take taxi, approximately how much is the ride? Can I pay the driver using credit card? 3. Is the Rydges... hotel within walking distance to the Oversea Passengers Terminal? If so, an easy short walk? 4. Are there convenient store (buy water and snacks) and casual eating places near Rydges...? 5. Can we use credit card for the taxi/eating/shopping (souvenirs)/market (buy water, snacks, etc.)? 6. Or it is wise to get some AUD at the airport ATM? Thanks in advance!!
