  1. How long is the walk from the cruise terminal to the historic center? Is it an easy walk? Will I be able to get the walking route map at the cruise terminal so I can follow the route to the historic center? Thank you.
  2. 1. OP mentioned there are shuttles across from Walmart for $4pp to the Malecon. Is Malecon a shopping center? 2. How long is the walk from Princess port to Walmart? Is it an easy walk? Need to ask about the route to get there? 3. How long is the taxi ride into town? What do we tell the driver, just say take us to town or there is a particular name for the town? 4. After seeing the town, are taxis easily available in town to take us back to the port? 5. In town taking a taxi back to port, do we need to negotiate the cab fare before getting into the cab or just go by the taxi meter? Usually how much? Thanks in advance!
  3. Can anyone tell me where the outdoor smoking section(s) are on the Discovery Princess? I want to avoid those areas when I do my outdoor daily walking around the ship.
  4. I have an older phone and can't load the app. So I am using the web version. I decided to give up trying. I will just bring all my paperwork and do it at the port (that was what I did on my April cruise and the process at the port was very fast). I am elite and can wait in the elite line, which will be the first group to be allowed to check-in).
  5. I am unable to delete and input the correct information. Tried everything that I can think of.
  6. I did successfully log in with my email and password. Then went to "manage my booking" for my October cruise, then chose "web version". The next screen that showed up has my name, and birthdate, and asked for me to put in my booking number. So, I filled in my booking number, and the message "this booking number has already been claimed" showed up. Then I went to the lower part of that page, put in my id and password, then the next screen showed up with a stranger's name and birthdate (not mine).
  7. I am having the same issue as you. It also came up with a stranger's name and birth date. My sailing is in 2 months. This April when I did the Transatlantic cruise, I had the same problem with the web version. Couldn't get the Green lane status. So I said just forget it. Show up at the pier, went to the Elite lane (I am elite) and as soon as the Elite lane opened up, I was allowed to go it and check-in immediately. Nobody cares to check my "lane" status.
  8. Princess announced for cruises 16 days or more, COVID test showing a negative result is required. Adding up my 3 b2b2b cruises, the total days will be 16 days, so am I required to take a COVID test before embarking on the 1st cruise (7 days)? My 3 cruises were booked separately, and have 3 booking numbers. The 1st cruise is 7 days, departs in San Pedro at the end of this October, and 2nd cruise is 5 days, and the 3rd cruise is 4 days.
  9. Yesterday I called and thought of choosing the "auto-call back" option, then decided to wait because I don't know if auto-call back keeps my place in line. How long did you wait before you got a call back?
  10. The coffee bar by Princess Live also serves cold specialty coffee or only hot coffee?
  11. I booked with a Princess CVP, and in my Travel Summary for that booking, I see under special service, it listed "cruise night coupon book". Is that the same book you attached? Will Princess send me the coupon book before my cruise (Oct 2022) or will send me an email with an attachment of the coupon book? Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't know it was just a joke. 😆 The reason I asked was that my sister always cruises with us but not in the same cabin with us and she is not an Elite, so she always bought her coffee package, because she thinks it is inconvenient to have to look for us every time she wanted coffee. From what you said, I thought maybe from now on, I can just transfer my package to her account.
  14. I thought the coffee package is loaded in the Medallion. So the other person needs to be there with his/her medallion to use his/her coffee package?
  15. Per the "Destination collection" brochure, for "cruises 6-24 days", the cancellation fee is your "deposit amount" if you cancel the cruises "89-57 days" prior to cruises. So if I paid a $1 deposit for a 7-day cruise, and I cancel that cruise 58 days prior to the embarkation date, I will only lose $1 and will get a full refund of everything else I paid (cabin fare, port fees, excursions, internet, etc.)?????? Or are other non-fundable fees involve?

  17. This morning I received an email from a CVP asking me to contact him if I need assistance booking a cruise. For the last 12 years, I used an outside TA, but she retired and the new TA who took over the retired TA's bookings is very unprofessional. So I am thinking of trying Princess CVP. This is why I want to know for bookings that I placed on "hold" during Princess' off hours, the next day, can I have a CVP to finish my "hold" booking?
  18. After I placed a booking "on hold", and later decide to finish the booking, instead of finishing it myself online or calling Princess directly, can I login to my account and choose the option to have a CVP contact me, and let the CVP finish the booking?
  19. Thank you. On my past cruises, we always booked 2 persons in a cabin, and always traded our mini bar for 2 coffee packages (1 pkg on each of our medallion). The other person doesn't drink coffee/tea, so every time we are at IC, if there was another person in line without a coffee package, we have always told the IC staff to also deduct their coffee from our cards.
