  2. Thanks for the information. It is good to know we don't need to use the porter and can carry on full-sized luggage to the ship on our own. A few times my luggage was fine when I gave it to the porter, and the luggage was damaged when it arrived at my cabin.

What I want to know is: Will Princess allow you to still board the ship if you tested positive (test taken at the port on embarkation day or taken 2 days before embarkation) if you can show proof that you tested positive 14 days or longer before embarkation and now you have no more symptoms?
  4. I didn't know we can carry our full-sized luggage (28") to the ship, which was why we always have given them to the porter. I thought all carry-on luggage must be small enough to go through the x-ray machine and Princess' x-ray machines look like the size of TSA machines at the airport, which I think 28" luggage won't be able to fit and go through. So you have carried full-sized luggages yourself to the ship in the past? Thank you.
  5. My sister has a friend who tested positive, had symptoms, and felt sick for a week, then all symptoms are gone, and felt well. She then took the test to make sure is negative before returning to work. The test still showed positive, she continues to test every few days, and test results continue to show positive. Now already 2 months, and still tested positive, so she is still not allowed to return to work. Luckily, her work has unlimited COVID time off. For future cruise planning, I would like to make sure I understood what I read on this thread.   6. Hopefully, someone who did a b2b2b can kindly answer my question regarding the required COVID testing. I am considering booking 3 cruises b2b2b on the Discovery (10/29-11/5, 11/5-11/10, and 11/10-11/14). For the 10/29 cruise, I can get the COVID testing done before embarking on the ship at the L.A. port. But for the cruise starting on 11/5, will Princess offer free testing for me while I am still on the ship during the 10/29 cruise? Or I must get off the ship on 11/5 and find a testing site to do the test before getting back on the ship for the 11/5 cruise? The same situation at the end of the 11/5 cruise to continue for the 11/10 cruise. Thank you.
  7. If I bought Princess insurance, and later on decided to cancel the cruise using the "cancel for any reason" benefit, will I get my full refund in cash or FCC that must be used within a limited time? Thank you.

I read on CC that within 60 days of your booking, one can transfer their booking to an outside TA. Is this allowed only if you did the booking online or through Princess phone sales or also apply if you booked through a PVP? Thank you.
  13. If I book directly through the Princess website, during the booking process, will I be able to indicate I want to use my FCD as a deposit? If I book with a PVP, when I want to make a change to my booking (for example, cabin change, price reduction due to a new promotion, etc.) and my PVP didn't respond within a reasonable amount of time, can I call Princess or use Live Chat to request my change? Or all changes must be requested through my PVP (just like if the booking was made by an outside TA)?   14. Disembarked Regal Princess on April 9. Received a check for $600 on June 8.
  15. In my case, Princess is the winner. My cruise ended on April 9, received my $600 OBC refund this morning. Used USPS, sent my paper copy of my Federal tax return on March 4, requested direct deposit. Haven't received my refund yet. Went to irs.gov to check refund status, and got the message "we cannot provide any information about your refund". My sister sent her on February 28, and when checked status on irs.gov, she got the same message.
