Once you try RC you will be hooked. Some pax take a RC and then hop on an ocean cruise. Or pre and post land touring is great also. Enjoy!

Happy New Year 2023!! Who’s booked for 2023 and where are you going? We are booked on Uniworld Jewels of Venetto with Milan extension. Our first cruise since 2019.

Hi. You’re sailing on deluxe Silversea. Arrange for a car service to pick you up. Or take Uber. It will take less than an hour to get there.

We used Uniworld with the precruise extension in Libson. We were very pleased. As you may know, due to special rules in Portugal, there is no sailing at night. Also, the ships and crews on all the lines are managed by the same Portuguese company. We sailed during July which actually worked out well with the schedule. Most pax were on deck in swimsuits enjoying the sunshine while sailing past the vineyards and thru the locks. Everything is included in the Uniworld fare so if you’re up for a cocktail by the pool why not? Uniworld also includes Salamanca in it’s itinerary.

The only hint would be to read the day to day itinerary to get an idea of what you will be doing. Also don’t forget to reserve the Chef’s Table when you’re on board.

I’m sorry but public health concerns, such as spreading norvovirus on a cruise ship overrides individual rights. How is the ship supposed to contain norovirus then. Better than puking for the length of the cruise and not allowed out of your cabin.

I would get another quote. It is possible to get a much better deal. Unfortunately CC does not allow us to share TA info

NCL has “washy washy” ladies in front of every dining venue, and upon embarkation from ports. Maybe if enough pax complained, the washy washy ladies would be on Regent also.

I want to pass on the wonderful customer service from Uniworld. My upcoming cruise was part of the 12 Days of Christmas Sale. I contacted my TA who is also fantastic. She contacted Uniworld. I’m still not clear if your daughter needs a wheelchair transport van or she is able to sit in a regular van. If she can sit, I would go with a van, arranged in advance. But you’ll need a van large enough to carry all the extras. Some transport companies with vans will take the last row of seats out to fit extra luggage. You need to specify. How are you going to get from your home to the train station in Baltimore? Will everything fit into one car then?

Sure. I can see that. But the basic research I like to do myself. I book with a TA myself for the incentives.

Researching RC is easy. What is there for a TA to research that you can’t do yourself? RCs are set up to appeal to those who are not savvy world travelers.

I would never want to force a driver to drive me anywhere. No thank you. And to call the cops. Please. Better to get the medallion number and report them.
