  1. ...or paying $50.00 or $100.00 more. 😁
  2. I believe a lot of us have purchased those clear luggage tag holders from Amazon. Been using them for years. Still holding up. They are sturdy.
  3. I for one am glad to hear that. At least we are all treated the same. Since we aren't zenith and don't book suites.
  4. IMO, if it's so hard for the CC to host the evening CC HH on the first evening then Celebrity should load CC HH drinks on the top three tier level SeaPass cards for every night of the cruise. CC HH event or not. Senior officers gathering or not. Especially when everyone doesn't purchases the AIP or the CBP or PBP.
  5. 4 laps is equal to 1 mile on the Grandeur walking/jogging/running track.
  6. First time I've seen it published on Celebrity's website. We've been getting the B2B discount with Celebrity for years. A future cruise agent onboard one of our cruises told us about the B2B discount when we were booking a B2B cruise with her. It would be nice if RC would give a B2B discount.
  7. No. Your friend will have the same check-in process you did. You can meet up once your friend is on the ship.
  8. Booked our flights with Delta for our Celebrity September NE/Canada cruise in February. Good prices and flights from the West Coast at that time. Today I got an email from Delta informing us of flight changes (leaving and returning). Didn't like the schedule they came up with. Called delta and they changed to a schedule that I picked that was better for us. The price is about $500.00 more a person now but we didn't have to pay anything. But we always book our cruises and air early.
  9. Your B2B letter will be specific to your cruise. No generic letter. You will receive your detailed TAD letter a day or two prior to the end of the first leg.
  10. It would effect us. You can't hide the stench no matter the amount of puffs.
  11. More cruises. Our personal and current preferences when booking.
  12. Not an issue for us either, youngster. 😜 And we are both retired (RDINKS) and never worked in the technology field, 😜. We prefer paper when traveling (hotels, cruises, airlines). Even though I have all the info on my phone. I don't want to be that person (no matter the age) fumbling around with my phone (either operator error or other phone issues) holding up the line. We received the Cruise Compass in our cabin each evening on our March B2B cruise on the Explorer. Never had to ask. Didn't realize it was an issue on some ships until reading it here on CC.
  13. But you really don't know and the only reason why I questioned you on it. Our last Celebrity cruise was on the Summit, September 2019. The CC HH in the Sky Lounge was only for elite, elite plus and Zenith. Just like it was before that and I'm sure still is. I'll find out this September on the Summit.
  14. We did a B2B on the Explore in March. First two nights in the DL the server took our SeaPass cards. For the rest of the cruise including the second leg he just wrote down our cabin number.
  15. Agree. RC makes it work just fine the first evening in the DL, CL and SL in the evening.
  16. I'll drink to that. Cheers my friend. 🍷🍷
  17. I can't believe you responded to it then. 🤣
  18. Bruno was/is great. We would always head up to the VCL before heading to the cabin for the evening to get (what we thought) a bottle of water and a can of Budweiser to go using our last drinks on each SeaPass card for that day. When he saw us coming he would have two bottles of water and two cans of Budweiser waiting and a good evening Ms. Kathy and Mr. Dave. I can see why you two had reserved stools at the bar. But the entire DL staff was great and made our evening pre diner trips to the DL fun and always welcoming.
  19. Yes newbies. 😉 As the old Virginia Slims tag line use to say, "you've come along way, baby".
  20. I can verify that. But you and Bucky did have a drink and nice conversation with Kathy and I one evening before dinner in the DL. In your defense, the bar staff at the VCL was spot on. 🍷
  21. I'm not sure either. But our last RC cruise was booked with a very useless TA and advised me table size was no longer an option(?). But we've never had a problem getting our request from the Head Waiter or whoever is on duty the first day.
  22. Quit cold turkey over 31 years ago after smoking for 26 years. No problem. No aids at all. I haven't had the craving for the addition since. Try it, you may surprise yourself.
  23. With RC selecting a table size during the booking process hasn't been an option for years and my Magic 8 Ball says, "no" for the future. Have you or if booked with a TA called RC and requested a change to early TD and and table size? This late in the game your chances are slim to none but worth the call. Again RC doesn't do 3 tops so you would get a 4 top minus one setting. We've had four tops in the past just for the two of us. IMO, currently MTD with RC sucks (didn't start until 7:15 on our last cruise) and why we called and changed to early TD when we did a B2B cruise on the Explorer March of this year. I know of one other couple that did the same.
