If it is on her account as pending, it just means RCI has not settled the transaction. It wasn't declined, but if RCI thinks it was, have your TA resubmit the payment ASAP. If it shows up on your CC twice, it's a straightforward dispute with your bank as a duplicate transaction.

Chill Island is somewhat quiet unless someone brings their Bluetooth speaker. Cabanas have the same problem and I'm not paying $1,000+. The new adult beach will have a DJ. And obviously, if someone is flying a banner no one is safe from noise.

That's the point. If the ship is not offering an excursion, then it's not possible. It's a reasonably long drive to the space center.

They can't do anything at the terminal. It would be best if you went to Guest Services on the ship on Day 2. And I agree don't tell them. Could also be KSF impacted the prices.

There won't be any Express Boarding if the ship isn't boarding. You'll be in the same chairs as everyone else at the Terminal. IMHO, this probably won't save you more than a few minutes. I think RCI is trying to incent you to scan your passport and take your picture so the pier agents don't have to.

To clarify, you are buying Internet access (Voom). Wifi is free, and you can use it for the RCI app.

Good point on the sales tax. There are excellent buys on the ship.

You need to put your phone in Airplane mode, sign on to the Voom internet, and turn on Wifi calling. There is no charge from your cellphone provider, just RCI to pay for Internet access.

What's available varies by location, ship, and sailing. Just remember most spirits are 1 liter and not the 750ml generally available in the USA. So compare prices by the size. Unless I'm leaving the port in my car, it's not worth the risk of packing for a plane ride.

We just spent 36 days on Jewel: 10/9/2023, 9/28/2023, and 9/14/2023. She is a wonderful ship. The Concierge Clubs on Radiance Class are the best in the fleet. The resident production shows are the same as on any RCI ship. There are no two70, Ice, or Broadway shows. There are also the same tired old comedians, magic shows, etc... that you will find on all RCI ships. There is always one great headliner show. There is no CK, but the major specialty restaurants are all there. Safari Club is best. If you want brand new furniture and the same tired old ports, spend double on Icon. IMHO, Radiance class ships have the widest selection of exotic ports and no cookie-cutter 7-day sailings.

You cannot 'text, (messages Android)' without Voom. Wifi calling must be on, and even then there are no guarantees you will receive an inbound text message or phone call. In fact, there are some countries that do not allow Wifi calling.
