  1. Anything under the WJ is a crapshoot. Chances are, carts will be rolling over your ceiling all night long. And it will depend if you are port or starboard.
  2. The Concierge Clubs on Radiance class ships are the best. What's missing? a Suite restaurant like CK.
  3. Next Cruise is supposed to ask you if you want your booking transferred to the agent on file.
  4. They stop seating at noon. They don't kick you out. WJ is the alternative.
  5. Formal dress is not required anywhere on any RCI ship. Specialty restaurants may require something above shorts and a T-shirt.
  6. It's Express something, but it's not Express boarding. Maybe it will be like the Suite line that's longer than regular.
  7. Make sure you know how to set Airplane Mode. You will also need to turn on Wifi and find RCI's Wifi network.
  8. I'm not sure. We were on Anthem last November, and I thought there were aerialists. I'll check with my family. I'm positive there were aerialists for the Book on Odyssey.
  9. There is a slight chance the show may be slightly different. In rough seas, the talent does not come down from the ceiling. I think we have seen this show 6-7 times. We sit in different areas and see new things each time. It's the same with the Book.
  10. We are missing each other's comments. There were very few children on Anthem and Odyssey. Those few families on the ships were pre-school kids. We have been on 22 full cruises since COVID. Very few children because we go on extended cruises and do not go on 3-4-5 day cruises. I believe 4-day cruises are to hide the out-of-sight cruise fares. RCI cannot focus only on families for nine months of the year.
  11. Two that I have been on are Anthem and Odyssey. Airfare is expensive; flying a family of 4 to Florida is often just as expensive as a cruise. Is four days worth the expense? Schools are cracking down on absent students. Remote schooling was the Covid era. Sure, there are kids during the fall/winter/spring; most are pre-school.
  12. Focusing on families is great for June, July, and August. What about the other nine months?
  13. You should be aware that linking reservations is not always the end. On our last family cruise on Anthem, every cabin had a different traditional dining table. (and not close to each other) The dining room manager got us all sitting together but could not explain why the MDR didn't get the linked cabins.
  14. There is no possibility that you will see your cabin number when your reservation shows GTY. You must have a set sail pass to see and use the bar code. I'm not sure why RCI withholds the information, but they do. Your cabin could have been assigned months before. There is no usually, because there is an equal chance your cabin was assigned shortly after final payment.
  15. The issue with mandatory or adding and hiding the amount in the cruise fare? Insurance; rates will increase, or if you don't have insurance an increased loss.
  16. Technically, a Suite can arrive 1 hour before their scheduled arrival time. In real life, it probably won't matter.
  17. CPAP bedside outlets only when you get to Quantum, Oasis, and, I assume, ICON. Ask your cabin attendant for an extension cord and distilled water. You can try a special needs form, but I've never found it to be helpful when I travel with my CPAP. BTW I've heard there is an outlier for Serenade World Cruise.
  18. Thank you for the information. Brings some sanity to the Starlink vs. router access points. I use WIN 11 Wifi on my 14" laptop because I like to have an actual screen and a PC with all my passwords.
