  1. We tried doing that last month on Symphony, went to Chops and asked, and the answer was No.
  2. I agree, the maximum age requirement is very annoying.
  3. So sorry for you and your family, cancer sucks. Hoping for a speedy recovery for your Dad.
  4. I always thought the same, until we cruised with friends on MSC. When our friend cashed in his wife's voucher, the casino cashier asked him very politely, where was his wife? She came over and then they cashed the voucher. I was in shock that a picture apparently comes up when a voucher is cashed at the MSC casino cage, never heard of that on any other ship.
  5. Yes, one point per night. It took us forever to make Platinum on Carnival. We now only cruise Carnival when we get a great deal on one of the ships that we like or on a new ship. And there is no incentive for us to book a suite on Carnival, although I have booked their Spa balcony (I love the thalotherapy pool) and their Havana balcony.
  6. We finally received our Pinnacle pins in the mail last Monday. My husband, who always said he would never wear a pin, has been wearing his constantly on this cruise. And I told him he looks very Handsome!!
  7. At Port Everglades last Saturday they asked for our vac cards at check in.
  8. Current captain is Captain Shawn (or perhaps I did not hear clearly when he was introduced). He just came back from vacation.
  9. Yes! I absolutely agree!! I was just telling the staff in CK that I am so sad that she is going to Galveston, I want her to stay in Ft. Lauderdale.
  10. I would be so upset!!!!!! I wonder what happened???
  11. Now that does not make sense? I thought no testing for short (5 day) cruises.
  12. I have been reading that there is a testing place at the airport, and another in City Center. It would be So Great if you did a live thread for your cruise and let everyone know what you did for your Covid test!
  13. I agree, hoping that RC extends to three days pre-cruise for European sailings. We go out of Copenhagen in September, I have an 8 AM test scheduled and hope it all goes well before we leave for the airport at 12 Noon that day.
  14. I am glad that they increased the testing to three days pre-cruise, instead of just two days. We cruise out of Copenhagen next month, so will be watching to see if RC will also do this for cruises out of Europe.
