    I still have the Mu Mu I bought at Hilo Hattie’s 35 yrs ago during a two week vacation on Kauai. You got a gift every time you went into the store. I have two coffee mugs and two shot glasses each with a map of the islands painted on them. Also many shell necklaces.

    I received an offer in July 2021 and booked right away for cruise Jan 2023.I got $50.00 OBC. Go figure.

    @Sharon in AZthank you. I have stayed at the Wyndham and like the walkable to the pier. My problem was because traveling with a small mobility scooter plus luggage, the transfer from airport to hotel was a hassle. The hotel was notified of this when the reservation was made.

    I believe I asked this before but did not get an answer. Does HAL have a recommended hotel in San Diego. If so is it walkable to the pier?

    I not only drink the water from the tap, I also make my early morning instant coffee from the hot water tap. Quite acceptable early rising.

    No pproblem graham. We met when I was 16 engaged at 18. Married at 20. All dates on my birthdate.

    @crystalspinno share, I’m single. But like to have mix to enjoy a drink or two on my balcony without having to go to wherever the cola is.

    Regarding the quench (cola) pkg. if you can only get one drink at a time. Can you pour drink into another container then get another drink. ?

    I don’t take my medallions to cruises but I do proudly wear my pins on my Holland America lanyard along with my parents earned many years ago. In those days the pins were for miles sailed.

    We Canadians are tough. Who cares about weather. We don’t have to take a shovel on board. Lol.

    @LizzGo I’m also doing the Hawaiian cruise in January. My forth time. Also from Canada. Not cold maybe cool for the first 2 days. Sweater or light jacket for outside.

    Medalion was delivered to my cabin, reception in the crows nest with captain and officers. I was pleased with this. Who would want a stranger leaning towards to your face placing the medallion over your head during Covid. No complaint from me.

    @CruiserBruce no I booked direct with HAL. My TA had just retired. She did always keep me up to date. Miss her.

    I booked a January cruise with deposit over a year ago. Payment due October with no date. Will HAL notify me when to pay?

    @grapau27thank you for your input on todays funeral. I was there at king George 6 laying in state and had the privilege watching the coronation of Elizabeth to become our queen. The next day I started a journey to Canada. My scrap books that I started as a youngster are still a part of my life.
