Hi Alaska Bound, You mentioned u stayed 15 days abroad after your cruise and flew home from a different city from where u disembarked. I always thought u had to return to the port of disembarkation to fly home. No problem with Regent doing your return flight from a different city?

Everyone has to be off by 9:00 am They sometimes have a excursion set .U need to ask. If not hire a private guide for a few hours.

If Regent can’t expand the Air Department to handle phone calls who’s going to be responding to the online forms and questions? How long is it going to take to hear back ? Who responds when someone has a flight issue? Needs to be rebooked, etc.

There are cabins blocked off for possibly quarantine. This was the case on the Explorer back in December. They use the lowest price cabins for quarantine.

We have not received any emails from our TA regarding Regent Air. We have already gotten tickets doing the air deviation for our July 2022 and November 22 cruises. Unfortunately not able to get our desired flights on either outbound flights. Regent always has an excuse… like no contracts on that flight you requested. Its impossible to even speak with someone and I find this unacceptable.

There is no way to make that flight. The airport is not far but you would need to be there at least 2 hours prior to departure. What was SS Air department thinking?

It’s getting very stressful to cruise. Negative test to board Negative test to fly back to USA. Regent doing testing on back to back cruises. Testing required by Bermuda to even stay onboard the ship. You get tested and are positive you get quarantined. Trying to find a test site in a foreign country Having to bring a test with u Couples being separated while in quarantine Did I leave anything out?

We have several Regent cruises booked. Have not received that message regarding the changes in the Air Department. However a friends TA told her about the changes and that it could take passengers up to a month to get their plane flights after requesting them . I find this really annoying that it's going to be impossible to communicate with the air department. If Regent wants to fill their ships they are going to need to be able to get you to your cruise. If the fares published by Regent increase with up charges this may impact people from cruising. Business Class tickets for international travel are very expensive and the amount of FFmiles per trip is very high. I would think that Alaska , New England, Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises may become even MORE popular due to the low cost of air travel for US passengers.

Freckles49: Were you required to be tested onboard before disembarking in Vancouver? I thought a Negative test is required to enter Canada???

My best friends just completed a cruise on the Splendor. Told me it was Fabulous!!!

I sure hope things improve as we board in July. Copenhagen to Amsterdam.
