  1. Contact your cruise-line and the US Border Agency: https://www.cbp.gov/contact?language_content_entity=en https://help.cbp.gov/s/questions?language=en_US If you use the webform there is the facility to upload an attachment - maybe your cruise booking confirmation and itinerary together with a copy of the email that you have received. Definitely worth getting sorted before you try to return to the USA
  2. See post #15 on this thread and the Ts&Cs on the relevant Regent web page https://www.rssc.com/seven-seas-society I think you will only attain bronze SSS status at the start of your Feb 2024 cruise. Best book another one 😉
  3. @jmalux, @kjbacon It would be useful if you could add your positive comments to SuiteGuru so that @UUNetBill can incorporate them in the Explorer spreadsheet. The only entry (from 4 years ago) for 966 on the Explorer spreadsheet at the moment indicated that there was noise from the restaurant above.
  4. In 2016 we were on Mariner sailing from Montreal (21st October) to Miami (4th November). The cruise was good but we were underwhelmed by the fall colours - too much wind and rain which stripped much of the colourful foliage.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion, but no difference in portrait or landscape ☹️
  6. We definitely opt for the "shower-only" suites on Mariner. The showers are large and well equipped; they were installed where the bath used to be. GTY on Mariner is a risk; maybe better to ask Regent if you can "waitlist" a number of suite grades, then you can reject any offer that does not match your requirements. If waitlisting, put down a deposit; refundable if you do not get what you want.
  7. IMO, F1 & F2 suites offer the best value. The Concierge suites, D & E have the same suite size & layout, but many have balconies that are deeper than most of the F suites. So unless you are offered a Concierge in a much better location with a deeper balcony I would stick with the Superior.
  8. I should add that I hope the requirements are relaxed before your cruise or that you can reach an accommodation with Regent. Your Travel Insurance will hopefully fill the gap if all else fails.
  9. We are now in June, so what is the latest on the supply of luggage tags for European customers and elsewhere? I do hope Regent has recognised that this "trial' was an unwelcome retrograde step
  10. Can you claim for cancellation on your Travel Insurance if you have developed a medical condition that does not allow you to have the booster vaccination and therefore does not allow you to travel?
  11. Everything OK on Mac with Chrome 🙂, but no bullets or numbering showing up on iPad or iPhone ☹️ The software that CC now uses is not very universal and seems to be prone to lots of glitches 🤨
  12. Thanks I am using Safari on an iPad. No bullets or numbers visible; very annoying
  13. ……. and when replying to a topic only the bullet function is available Aaaaa Bbbbb Ccccc but again doesn’t show when posted
  14. Why don’t the bullet or number functions work? Bullets: Aaaaa Bbbbb Ccccc Numbers: Aaaaa Bbbbb Cccc They show when drafting post but disappear when posted
  15. Now only bullets available Aaaaaa Bbbbbb Cccccc but they don’t work
  16. Aaaaa Bbbb Cccccc Ddddddl Aaaaa Bbbbb Ccccc Dddddd
  17. Random thoughts, in no particular order: - Read the daily news sheet, Passages, to see the daily schedule - Take advantage of the included laundry & pressing. They do an excellent job - Try out all the lunch and dinner venues at least once each - If you want additional speciality restaurant reservations, it helps if you can be flexible on time and sharing - Although many excursions are included don’t feel pressured to take a long excursion every day during a port intensive cruise. Allow time to relax & enjoy the ship - Let your steward or butler know your drink preferences so that they stock your fridge to your liking - If you do not care for the wines offered at dinner ask for an alternative. The sommeliers are usually very helpful - Speak to a member of staff if you have a special request, or something is not to your liking. If they can fix it they will - Book your next cruise while on board (or 30 days prior). You will receive more flexible booking conditions than normal for a U.K. booking. You can transfer the booking to your TA for any extra discounts or perks on offer. The cruise consultants on board are very helpful ………………….. and most importantly, enjoy your cruise 😎
  18. It is what it is. Often the deposit is lowered to 10%, but again forfeited if the guest cancels. The only way for U K cruisers to avoid this penalty is by booking whilst on board or up to 30 days prior to a Regent cruise. This has been difficult to do over the last 2 years 🤨
  19. We were on deck 14 (D grade) on Splendor in December for a Caribbean cruise. We loved the secluded location up top and did not suffer undue motion. The balconies on decks 14 & 12 are shallower than on deck 10, but the drawback of suites on deck 10 is the possibility of noise from the Pool deck above. 1202 might suffer noise from the Observation lounge below.
  20. Intrigued. For which cruises are Regent advertising a 3 category upgrade?
  21. On many of our past Regent cruises we have encountered a designer on board with their wares on sale in the shops - usually jewellery and handbags; but no hard sell. Presumably the arrangement between the designer, shop & Regent is financially advantageous to all. In the past, prior to this change, it was often the case that the H grade suites were "waitlisted" immediately the cruise went on sale; probably because those suites were being reserved for the use of entertainers, lecturers & the like. IMO, this new arrangement is a more honest way of displaying what is actually available. However to be even more transparent it might be better for Regent to either change some of the G category to H or simply start the pricing at G; especially on Mariner (& Navigator & Voyager) where there is really no difference between G & H grades
  22. Included ("free") excursions should have been confirmed in the email. If all your chosen excursions are definitely showing as booked in your Regent account it sounds like a glitch. Perhaps @Mike Moore (mmoore@rssc.com) can help.
  23. .............. but only two grade H suites now available for booking on Mariner, unless things change in the future
  24. It is obviously important for Regent to ensure that the issue with Mariner (reportedly a recently damaged prop) is resolved as soon as practical. The two 7-day cruises affected are not unique and were not fully booked. It therefore makes sense to carry out the repairs as soon as nearby dry-dock facilities could be arranged; encouraging those affected to move their cruise to one of the later available opportunities. Extremely disappointing & frustrating for those whose cruise has been cancelled, but the compensation offered by Regent appears to be generous. I hope all those affected manage to find something suitable to replace their cancelled cruise and do not suffer any adverse financial or personal consequences. I doubt that there will be ongoing consequences after the dry-dock. Presumably Regent are confident that the necessary work will be completed within the two-week time period allocated. The ship will then revert to its published schedule.
