  1. It’s been many years since taken a small pax full day of sights, snorkel, lunch and drinks charter in St Kitts. Sadly the company no longer in existence, or taken over. However, one knows Blue Safari do offer this. Give them a call. https://bluewatersafaris.com/catamaran-tours/?utm_term=catamaran yacht&utm_campaign=Amplify_NB_EXA&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_acc=4496576275&hsa_cam=8552526465&hsa_grp=88231528722&hsa_ad=405876682063&hsa_src=g&hsa_tgt=kwd-14947756&hsa_kw=catamaran yacht&hsa_mt=b&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrofCyfO9gAMVk_DtCh2WdQzoEAMYASAAEgI3jPD_BwE
  2. One’s room steward can remove empty suitcases from stateroom and store. Returning the last afternoon prior to disembarking. Gratuities are welcomed. We regularly have our steward assist us.
  3. Try sending a message via their face ache page or telephone.
  4. Other suggestions. Hotel - La Concha (direct sea view) Restaurant - Marmalade (take wine pairing menu - book early and we’ll in advance)
  5. If not in the menu, request it, as think bar staff will make it for one…. Friend loved a Black Russian, not on the list, but was perfectly made… After all, one is on Cunard.
  6. Think genteel Country Club, where many discerning cruisers, holiday makers and locals all meeting up for conversation, to renew long standing friendships and take Lunch. Pre-lunch drinks (ED25 large and fizz), lunch (seated at tables) with wines, then digestifs and/or cocktails, all served in quality glassware, at large thick clean padded wooden sun-beds by discreet, friendly and attentive wait staff. Gratuities were heavy. Then some non-genteel people discovered it, thinking they were clever, launched their findings across many social media platforms. T'erds etc arrived, driving the Lunch Club people away. Revenues dropped drastically, so Carambola had a decision to make and went full Carnival, with monkeys, massage parlours, etc., etc., you name it, including pizzas, and fetch your own drinks in plastic receptacles. This continues to prove very attractive to the masses (Hundreds), giving a much needed replacement revenue stream for the few that left.
  7. OMG! It appears the ambience is worse now than many years ago. It used to be a destination for genteel Cruisers, not now.
  8. Best to rent from a main brand where one lives with a representation in the destination island. Then any “island” problems either there, or post, can be resolved direct and locally.
  9. Welcome to CC @BigMac1953 has given excellent advice. Just post ports/places of interest and CC will give ideas of Cunard prices, also independent operations, CC members organised and DIY. Price range indication (personal experience) $60 - $200 pp

  11. It’s a T’erd destination…. Do use the money possibly spent on a ship excursion and take a day pass at the Marriott. Better ambiance, bars, food etc, secure and no T’erds. Book direct with Marriott in advance or follow the TTE Protocol.
  12. Fit and mobile? About 40/45 minutes in the heat.
  13. Could be one is thinking about minimum days for Shareholder Benefit OBC. If a two or three nighter etc is sold separately, then one believes it’s considered a Voyage
  14. Harbour Lights is “masses central”. If wishing a gourmet lunch, then Champers. But, if wanting great rugged sea views, away from tourists etc., then take a look at the restaurants on Bathsheba Beach. This beach was a TTE recommendation, friends visited and were wowed by the views and great food.
  15. They also know the fare paid… C, S or ES Some also may hold a notebook on what gratuities previously received from which pax. Also, notated feedback from waitstaff etc on guests, known as “in the file”.
  16. Personal opinion only……. Like sitting inside a half open square tin can Tried once, never again.
  17. Also consider “bonus nights” for the grade of Stateroom booked and total of onboard spend.
  18. That’s why one suggested nights, not cruises.
  19. Friends have health issues, but this doesn’t stop them from sailing Cunard. One has to also be wealthy to sail Cunard? Don’t agree.
  20. Or even better. Loss of one level for every year missed.
  21. New levels above Diamond? - 150 nights just a thought…… Red - up to 24 nights - current Silver benefits Silver - 25 nights Gold - 50 nights Platinum- 100 nights Diamond - 150 nights Next Level above Diamond - Countess - 250 nights Above - Carinthia - 350 nights Then - Caronia - 500 nights - Receiving the current full Diamond benefits, with a stretched sliding scale (downwards) to Silver level benefits
  22. Early this year friends confirmed $10 per set 2/1…. But, their vendor talked of a possible increase to $15 per set…. Additional CGB is “Sardine Central”…. Better beach experience is to be found at Brewer’s, or Smuggler’s. Bed prices about $10 per set. Personal preference is Brewers, very long sandy beach, plenty of space for all, good snorkelling around rocks in front of bar, fabulous views out to sea. 23. There are porters at Southampton Cruise Terminal who collect luggage luggage from one’s taxi on arrival. Luggage is then delivered to one’s stateroom. The only dragging will possibly be one’s sack barrow, or trolley, loaded with alcohol into the Departure Centre.
  24. How true… Actually witnessed the queue end aside the lobby stairs, even before the doors had opened.
