  1. Very fair point. But then the OP will probably be seeking a “2 Tray” solution to the problem.😊
  2. Although have occasionally observed it, one is at a loss to understand what is enjoyable, seen as a must do. To first have the thought, then to deliberately walk to the buffet, browse, load a tray with food, drink, napkins, cutlery etc.. The carefully carry (avoiding spills) the load all the way back to a stateroom. To then have to juggle the tray and it’s contents whilst performing contortions to open a door. Just a big no-no
  3. Know @reedprincess will kindly respond. One can recommend from personal experience https://mysticmantours.com/tour-item/catamaran-charters/
  4. Now fully understand, one will be visiting the Buffet for self selection. Therefore, when browsing completed consider asking a member of the wait staff to carry the tray back to one’s stateroom. Then one can hold open the door to allow the carrier to enter and place the laden tray on the table of one’s balcony.
  5. St Kitts has never been thought of as a good place for snorkelling. Best one can expect is poor, especially when the tides have removed or thrown up sand. Which regularly occurs. Take a snorkel tour. Failing that a day at the Marriott or a short hop to Nevis.
  6. Have room service deliver. Then when they attend, open door, wait staff will carry through to balcony for one. Simples….
  7. If one is seeking something different and genteel on next visit, then consider https://www.cocobeach.restaurant
  8. Think the best quick ROI would be to be based in the Far East and turned into a floating casino, offering quality staterooms, top fine dining restaurants with high end Wine Lists. Plus an avenue, or two, of aircraft and yacht maker/sellers, not forgetting the required designer shops. With discreet private rooms, for private meetings, dining etc.. The high rollers, oligarchs, republic leaders and other big spenders would flock to it. Also the occasional WAG.
  9. Possibly the markets in the Far East, Australia or the various seasonal USA departure ports.
  10. The Great Bay Webcam only shows a very, repeat very, small section of the beach. Probably not showing about 80% -
  11. Little Bay Webcam Link - https://www.earthcam.com/world/sintmaarten/?cam=sintmaarten_belair Note the number of beds/umbrellas
  12. It does get busy, that’s why pax book beds in advance. One can check out the beach https://www.portstmaartenwebcam.com Yes, Divi is less busy, being a further 12/15 minute walk round the bay. Beds can be rented on a first come basis, with drinks being purchased as/when. Facilities are free for patrons. Sorry, unable to give a recommendation for either, as never visited these beaches for over 12 years. In no doubt that CC will assist. But if only having the two as a choice, the less pax would push one towards LB..
  13. The cheapest beach day often posted in CC is a walk to Great Bay, booking chairs etc at Big Bastards Link to previous thread -
  14. As a thought, consider a day at Brewers Beach. It’s a long very quiet sandy beach, plenty of room to play, great views. Beds have seen better days, but functional. No problem with of cabs to/from Or totally off piste idea…. How about a visit to a pre-school play group? Where little ones can interact (and play/learn) with groups of the same ages from the Isalnd. Who knows, this may be a start to a friendship or two. Willow’s is one, but don’t 100% know if they would, but feel they might welcome visitors. Worth an ask on faceache? https://www.facebook.com/willowsbvi/?locale=en_GB
  15. Sound like a good plan… My one suggest going over the hill to La Plywood… Shabby chic and ethnic….Where one’s custom would be greatly appreciated and truly valued. Food and drinks very reasonably priced. When look at menu prices, there are in ECD. To roughly convert ECD into USD - Divide the ECD by 2 - Then deduct 20% = USD
  16. Think the 50% deposit is in response to those in the past who booked without a deposit, then cancel just before arrival, leaving little or no chance for the driver to obtain a fare, leaving them to suffer a loss of a whole day’s revenue. If one is reticent to commit to a deposit, then decide one’s schedule in advance, on arrival go to the rank, discuss with a driver, agree the day’s fare (with the knowledge of a previous quotation from Antours), depart. .
  17. Also, can’t be used as a full or part deposit for future cruises booked onboard.
  18. Happy to assist. For Barbados - Take a wonderful limited 12 maximum pax large Cat sail, including lunch, drinks, swim, snorkel, etc., etc with. https://www.elegancebarbados.com or https://silvermoonbarbados.com or https://calypsocruisesbarbados.com Note to self… Check out start times of each operator to fit one’s docking times I just snorkelling, then - https://www.tranquilitycruises.com Book early as popular with island holiday makers, in addition to cruisers. For other Caribbean islands, switch over to the applicable island on CC for various threads with information. Specific questions can also be answered there, rather than under Cunard.
  19. With one’s dining scenario, will the proposed three classes also have their own communal and entertainment areas, with no infestation allowed in any areas above their station?
  20. Very interesting thought.. Does one predict an alternate restaurant for inside cabins, or will all Dining be true Silver Service, White Tie and Gowns?
  21. Totally agree. No “Steerage Class” is a great idea.
  22. A true replica, but without Steerage? Great, then it’s “White Tie” dining for ALL Gentlemen, with ALL Ladies in gowns, as a strict (enforced) requirement.
  23. Sorry…. Omitted Leo - Link - christopherom95@gmail.com.
  24. Or something different with adrenaline…… https://adventureantigua.com/activities/the-xtreme-circumnav/ Book early, space limited, very popular.
