  1. Casinos are independent of the Princess ship… Cash out - means cash out, not future OBC. By going through parent company’s Executive Office gives a little bit more strength to the potential of a successful resolution. Good luck
  2. Try - Giving full details Executive.Correspondence@carnivalukgroup.com But don’t mention “never cruise again”
  3. Just ask….. St. Maarten Tourism Bureau Main Office 6 Juancho Yrausquin Boulevard Philipsburg, St. Maarten Tel: +1721-549-0200 Email: info@vacationstmaarten.com
  4. Marmalade- take their Wine Pairing Menu - Book well in advance to avoid disappointment
  5. Best option…. Try Nevis with https://bluewatersafaris.com/tour/nevis-beach-getaway/ Book early They use Lime beach bar, but take the short walk down the beach to “Sunshine’s” to enjoy a few Killer Bees. Also their menu is good and priced fairly. WiFi is available and free. Sunshine’s also offer Killer Bees as a takeaway - Link - https://www.facebook.com/sunshinenevis/ Enjoy
  6. This could be a “Cruise Line Charter”, then to max out profits the ship allows Excellence to sell slots to Sandals (on their behalf) to take up any shortfall in their profits. You are correct about being crammed on, because maximum pax equals maximum profits. That is why Xtreme is a much better option. Suggest contacting Lawrence - http://www.lawrenceofantigua.com - as he may have options for a land tour with a sea visit.
  7. Sadly, the only ‘similar’ is Excellence, but they also depart at 09.00
  8. As a previous poster stated… “There are many ways to cross the Atlantic, but QM2 is the only way…..” Enough said😊
  9. Cruise friends have visited with a Day Pass AI https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/stmartin/secrets-st-martin/sesxm Best to contact Hotel for current rates and availability
  10. Consider ordering a wrist Corsage for the first Gala Evening - That would be a surprise, special and different
  11. Cruise friends have visited with a Day Pass AI https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/stmartin/secrets-st-martin/sesxm Best to contact Hotel for current rates and availability
  12. Castaway is in GB, which @NiikilovesSXM is actively promoting. Having experienced many, Beach venues over the years, one was putting forward a legitimate comparison, based on one’s actual experiences. If @NiikilovesSXM had a free choice between castaways and COCO for the day, one wonders what that selection would be.
  13. Tried Great Bay years ago…. Not now for us… Moved on to better venues…. As @DeckDad stated, no real jewellery bargains anymore, so a reason to stay around Phillipsburg evaporates. COCO or Castaway? Mmmmmm - Decisions, decisions…….
  14. Never considered this… Things to see along a main traffic artery? - Mad drivers inside trucks, vans, cars and reggae busses hurtling along at breakneck speeds in both directions, with no respect for other road users, while one poodles along for about two hours in the heat there, then two hours back. If one is brave enough to actually undertake, then suggest a fully working St Christopher pendant would be a suitable accompaniment. Good luck
  15. Welcome to CC?…. Feel free to ask any questions or advice about the ship and what it offers…. One small thought. When boarding QV and enter the Atrium, pause for a few moments, look up and around, then close one’s eyes and let the QV give a welcome home hug. Then you’ll could understand what being a Cunarder is.
  16. Try again when onboard….. Think one will be more successful
  17. To assist… Crowds and the masses do not frequent COCO
  18. IMHO the best beach is COCO. Great ambiance, peaceful, excellent food/drinks, comfortable beds and genteel clientele. Link - https://www.cocobeach.restaurant - Gallery - https://www.cocobeach.restaurant/gallery Pass on Great Bay as it’s far too busy. The masses find it attractive, because it can be walked (or ferry or low shared taxi fare) from ship.
  19. Take a tour with the best…. Suggest the tour with a visit to the distillery. You’ll need nothing else…. Enjoy
  20. Cunard only state, there is a corkage fee for wine and champagne consumed in dining room. There is no mention of Vodka… However, if one feels the need to be the first to attempt to extend the boundaries, one is free to do so when onboard, then do post the Cunard Sommelier’s and the MD’s comments.
  21. Best beach for one’s pocket can be found from the selection on Resort Pass (Day Pass) https://www.resortpass.com/hotel-day-passes/San-Juan-903
  22. Wish one luck, because this table for 2 (numbered xxx) may have been a four split to make 2x2’s retaining the original table for 4 number xxx. Try asking on a QV site for a CC member currently onboard to check.
  23. Personal favourites https://www.tidesbarbados.com - shabby chic dining excellence https://champersrestaurant.com - upmarket setting and dining excellence
  24. Sorry to interrupt, but just noted in passing. Yes…. Do agree with the Cava suggestion….. Think the onboard offerings are for constructed for the cruise market or for spraying, not for one’s palate to enjoy.
  25. Sorry, wrong operator…. My bad… wrong island https://www.karamboletoursmartinique.com/en-GB/
