you added a photo..was this local entertainment they brought on board.. suggestion for the potato/ veggie issue...order appetizer/ soup and then a salad to go with the entree..they seem fresher looking than the limp veggies!

agree on salads. we will be dining in BLU on Ascent, but if the veggies are like the ones described and shown in pics for mdr, we will start with soup/appetizer, and order a salad to accompany the entree. soups on X have usually been good..hope that is still the case. I usually forego the carbs incl. pasta, rice, potatoes and bread.( may nibble on a breadstick) Seems X is big on cheap carbs lately! looking forward to this review

for comparison: stocking of bar and mini fridge with one's preferred items by concierge/ butler were standard at Sandals..which was truly all-inclusive other than the spa and shops. once again Celebrity shows it is chintzy!

nicer than Hoppen... much more high end... but a bit bland with colors..hope you can order some flowers ( if not supplied) to liven it up a bit. very sensible layout nice chairs and table on the balc I think you will be very comfy !

agree.. we thought those long tables were very tight...and had slower service. suggestion above will make it more pleasant all around.

Great choice..the history of the ship's construction as an Ocean Liner is fascinating, has a beautiful library, planetarium, the lunch tavern is fun! We are serious looking for a good time to book her.

wonder if the grat may eventually be reduced. Seems it is not the same level of service with the team plan. ( We were one and done with the SS..before the changes..did not suit us yet we paid the included suite grats plu$)

food photos looked good except for the very thin looking steak.Are u going to try something else? I don't think it will get any better.. changing your dining res was inexcusable....they pulled a switch like that on us on EDGE.. we had booked an early time at Fine Cut months in advance , The day before the res day , we went to confirm and learned we were given a much later time.. I raised a big stink b/c the snooty maitre d insisted it was a much better time ..At first he refused to cancel and refund us but relented....It was very degrading and we then cancelled all.of our specialty dining res..

we do not use our phones on the ship. they are kept in full "off mode" in the safe.. We can use them in a port with free wifi....or to call home if the port is in our plan.

we did that with the tour of the Music Hall in Barcelona..dh knows no Spanish..I get by a bit with Span but get lost with Catalan..It was still well worth it. Similar issues in Martinique..my French is really is terrible! Generally, .Americans (US) are way behind in language diversity! Can' t wait to hear how the bi lingual goes..at least only 2 languages!
