How will the existing size buffet area fit all those who choose NOT to pay extra for dining.? What if cruisers already booked with a real dining room included in their fare? How about just call it an overnight ferry boat with take out coffee shop.? ..cookies extra

We have next cruise in Jan in BLU on Ascent so that should be safe After that we are booked on Apex, SV, with 4 mdr choices ( we hope)....If not offered as part of our fare, we will cancel, lose the depisit and write X off..seems heading that way!

maybe they gave the cookie cuttter job to a demoted Butler.. We have 2 more X booked..and one more on Connie in thought process but just I saw ad for a new all.inclusive in CANCUN that looks very appealing! Butler Service !

we use it for our items after we ask for it to be emptied.. agree it can be a trap or a VERY expensive convenience.

we will be in AQ class on Ascent and will def ask for the pillow chocs and the daily canapes if we will be on the ship to enjoy them..we usually ask for shrimp, cheese and with fruit for some variety we always bring our own non- stale crackers.. Will staff get demerits if we ask for what we paid for?? so far our gowing carry- on packing list includes: plastic take away containers, straws, utensils, baggies for foraging, brita mini pitcher to filter water, crackers cookies.. It's all part of the new Self Serve Modern Luxury...

takes many yrs to biild a good reputation and customer base but much less time to self destruct.. yet the money seems to be still rolling in..which is the way the business judges itself

prices are online..check your cruise planner for your sailing.. you can pre book with a discount...best prices are .usually for times shop is in port. we never recd an AQ class discount / spa credit ????

not only avoid due to deck noise but also loud repetitive whoosing water sounds.. we got stuck with that once. we avoid pool areas above

how rude..Glad it was resolved but I would not want that person anywhere near my stateroom for any reason and would request that ftom the get go

we always ask for the refrig sodas and alc to be emptied from our reg or AQ class staterooms so we can fill the fridge with our own water and cans of soda free of charge! more work for the attendant but cuts down on potential overcharges! We never use the pay for water btls, chips etc left on the dresser

when we were there..yrs ago, there were hanging seats..kids were up there all the time..using it as a play area. hopefully no more so one can relax and have a cup of coffee!

AQ can be pricey..but nothing like Retreat.. we jump between SV with the 4 mdrs( prefer Tuscan and Cyprus), and AQ class (we do not mind the Inf Balc) money "saved" goes to excursions, spa, specialty dining etc

Hope not..other than I believe BLU should be exclusive to AQ class cruisers. . Suite guests were allowed to dine in BLU, subject to availability before Luminae was created..I always felt that once that happened, BLU should have reverted back to AQ only Venue is small and gets overcrowded/ overwhelmed at certain times. Solution would be to improve Luminae menu and/or offer rotating "BEST of BLU" in Luminae!

Sky Suite grats for Team Butlers vs indiv Butler service should be reduced..lesser level of service. Are suite grats mandatory or suggested? We gave extra grats for our Sky Suite on Beyond even though our Butler was in overdrive..tried too hard to please! But for a Team we would not tip extra..the Team is not an indiv Butler unless Team divides up cabins?
