We have been cruising on X since Century and Mercury..Been on most of the ships since then. Mostly in AQ class..since it started We enjoy the Thermal suites and I love the spa We have been in an SV and Inf V.. We like the E class ships ..but are not " suite people" our first and only suite was recently on Beyond in a Sky Suite..used up fccs from multiple cancellations. We found our Butler to be a pest, did not care for Luminae, found Retreat a wasted space and the outdoor area very crowded with a small pool. Best on port days. Glad we tried a suite but Happily going back to AQ We will miss the larger cabin, early boarding and disembark which AQ guests used to enjoy I think those who booked with a Butler in their fare should have that service restored. We expect the entire Celeb experience will continue to be degraded! We will enjoy Ascent, then APEX..but have no plans with X after that! Glad we had so many great cruises on X..but those days are truly over.

oops sorry.. This is an upcharge venue! On EDGE we enjoyed Tuscan and Cyprus.. the 2 smaller mdrs for dinner.. Try Eden Cafe for lunch...good choices great breads

Raw on 5.. great meal, good variety of selections not just sushi...excellent service. Book ahead, fills up quickly

let the upcharge cookies sit til they go stale..sends a message. we are planning to bring plastic baggies and take out containers so we can stock up at the buffet..hope there's still nice cookies there..

there is a concierge at a desk someplace but not what you think.may be a good perk. ( our opinion) others have outlined the conciege perks..that's abt it!

Wonder if for future bookings X will adjust the all included grat amount for sky suites versus, the amount for those whose suites will have a specific assigned butler? services rendered will NOT be equal!

i would not cancel at those rates.. Enjoy the cruise... pethaps you can find other ways to get pampered. . a nice thing to do is have mimosas on the Magic Carpet..grab some pastries and fruit from the Solarium Cafe..I loved doing this...no crowds, great views! like your own really big balcony!

maybe don't judge by Oasis.. It could not compare to X for dining ( food and service) or staterooms in general, and many other still included X niceties.. X has no lines, no need fir show abd event res, less hawking of items at dining rms .. We were counting the days til we disembarked. Even our dtr and son in law...younger and active ..saw it as a step down, esp after camera was stolen at an event and they had their stateroom searched & were accused of lying! ( both have sec cleared jobs) . Nice! Oasis is good for families, those who like rock walls, surf pool, parades etc. Music and shows may be livelier than X..maybe not so on E Class ships. Mgmnt may try to bring X down to Royal standards but still have a ways to go.. just our opinion!

Did your suite have a sewer smell? what ship, what suite?

dh would like to see Bud lite replaced with Coors lite...or another lite Beer.. Many restaurants now.offer another lite choice

we bring our own plastic straws and carry them in my purse at home too. we have a supply of other items that may eventually be banned. We'll bring a few plastic take out containers for take out from the buffet..esp if they further downgrade the afternoon canapes... Luxury cruising not!

hopefully folks can log in a standing order with their RETREAT team for whatever coffees, food they'd like to have brought to them each morning. maybe there will be a standard request form to reduce phone calls that may overwhelm the team.. wish everyone Good Luck!

it's not the terrain..it's the traffic..plus luggage..dangerous area.. I believe no sidewalks along most roads Just get a taxi..it will save headaches and get u there safely and efficiently

You have a long time to plan and research the ports, the canal and BEYOND. Did not know E class could do even a partial transit..interesting! Have read that drought has had an effect on recent water levels..hope you stay up to date on that and report back. You can check out the Cruise Critic Ports Board, ship reviews, and read The Path Between the Seas..a must for this itin! We enjoyed this itin on a Royal C ship...loved Costa Rica! Sailed on BEYOND recently..great ship.!

We saw armed guards with bullet belts in Mexico who were guarding Cozumel port after an alleged ferry incident...We were held back from boarding the ship for almost an hour. It was a bit unnerving standing in the hot sun along the pier under guard altho it really had nothing to do with folks headed to the ship from the port area. In Acapulco we had an armed escort in a sep vehicle on our excursion and a double guarded entry to the resort we visited for the day..Also had armed guards along the beach Didn't notice much in other ports????

exactly.. and a few times we were there on cruises in our pvt cabanas..others had items stolen from their loungers.. After a strict lockdown, items are usually retrieved but no thanks i have also travelled to Haiti proper over the years where family did charity work but would never do that now. The gangs are ruthless!

we like the gelato, laundry perk( x2), internet and other small extras like the rose in cabin, get togethers, sail aways sad to have lost priority boarding and disembark..which goes to suite guests..
