Maitre d..runs dining and waitstaff services although they are the customer contact point on dining. Perhaps the Chefs Dept would be a better place to register complaints.. I expect, however, they are now Royal managed ..goal is to cook low budget items in bulk, skip creativity! Nothing special or amazing, despite whatever talents they possess. in the past, people used to applaud the Chefs..cooking demos were well attended..how sad!

bringing down the caliber of food on X to Royal C level will not be very popular! That is one area that set the two cruise lines apart On our cruise on Oasis a few yrs ago . the food was like a school dining hall..even in the Specialty venues.. Back then, we could not wait to get back to X...

sorry..I do not see Le Petit Chef as a place to Celebrate an anniv. A .group dinner with strangers..vs your own pvt table for dining, pampering by staff and celebration.

We are E + long time X cruisers. and have experienced most X ships, quite a few more than once, in many diff types of staterooms and on many diff itins. We won't be invited to inquire but would like to know: Has she ever cruised on Celebrity ships before X started to become Royalized ? If yes, what are her fav X ships and itins? What is her educational/professional background & work experience? What is her assigned mission? Saving money, increasing brand loyalty, finding new cruisers, changing the X branded ships into Royal ships? Is she a " change" specialist? ( like folks who are brought into companies to " re- organize", cut costs and clean house?) What are her fav land based restaurants and hotels, and how would she take ideas and concepts from these and integrate them into Celebrity cruise ships..if at all? How does she feel about smoke/ vape free cruising, and healthy cuisine being available for all customers? Where does she like to shop for clothes, shoes, and handbsgs? ( tells alot abt a lady!) hope answers will be helpful!

i had 2 shrimp cocktails as salad on BEYOND.. limited menu but just enough...service was very slow! Bar area and table seating were overwhelmed....we ate at a small conversation area in the shade!

other than being in Hurricane season in the Carib the BEYOND itins pricrs seem ok...BEYOND is a great ship, we enjoyed our suite..found Lumjnae to ve quite over rated.. dark areas, crowded table spacing.. menu and food so so!

check with special needs before u cancel.. may be able to park it in a nearby hallway??

Oasis okay for families who do not mind more modest dining Waiting on lines, crowded areas. Lots for the kiddos, wave pool and zip liners to enjoy other than that.. just eh

we do not use the app at all..our devices are yoo old and we hear it has many errors overall

good to know. I prefer crab to.lobster and husb allergic to lobster so I try yo order some when we cruise! On Beyond..in Luminae..lobster was tiny but very succulent and they served 2..

maybe new mgmnt will curtail this program along with others..not sure if it was a ROYAL marketing plan or just X.

one nice thing about BLU is that you can easily get entrees not buried in sauces..on the side is an option or none.. sorry this is OFF TOPIC!

been awhile since we cruised on Royal it was on Oasis..not our style! we have been fans of E class but miss Lawn Club Grill . Guess Royal/Celeb will not miss those who go elsewhere...new group waiting in the wings..???
