This has been the view for a few days now. One of my concerns with doing an NE-Canada cruise is this would end up being the view for the entire cruise. These fog banks can be very persistent.

Yes, you don't have to board you just need to check in. I was referring to just dropping off your luggage and then leaving. I feel it is better to complete checkin first.

One of the reasons for boarding and then leaving the ship is you need to be checked in a certain amount of time before sailaway. If you are delayed getting back to the ship you are at least already checked in and shouldn't be denied reboarding.

I have also noticed that we are losing daylight. For me the school district, including its sports program, start ramping up around the middle of August so that is when my free time becomes much more limited.

I think you will love the camera. I have the S22 and I don't even take my stand alone camera with me pretty much anywhere.

The nice thing about biking is you create your own breeze. It is when you stop that you realize how hot it is.

I'm a fan of heat and humidity. I have no problem biking when both are high. I don't like it when I have a lot of clothing on though. Sweating doesn't bother me until clothes start sticking to me. I can't stand that feeling.

Adventure has been running the same RC Singers and Dancer shows since the day it went into service in 2001. I've had some great cruises on the ship but don't expect anything close to Oasis class entertainment or you will be disappointed. Whoops, didn't mean to quote anyone. -

I think the entire cruise would be overwhelming. Considering time away from home, over eating, over drinking, I just don't think it is for me, at least not at this stage in my life. And, honestly, all of these ports are starting to look the same to me. I think it is sensory overload of something like that.
