  1. Symphony is back on AIS in the middle of the Red Sea. I hope this means past the prime danger zone. Roy
  2. Hugs to @ottahand7 on this sad day. @ger_77 I think both you and Maruice are candidates for sainthood with the kindness you have shown to Ollie on Gord's passing. I expect with Maurice's medical problems stepping up to keep Easter plans going as you tended to your friend. I expect the rest of the family chipped in as well but hugs to all of you. Roy
  3. Today's sunrise is from my 2017 MS Zaandam cruise from Buenos Aires to San Diego. April 1 was a sea day from Cape Horn to Puerto Montt: Roy

  5. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Tom Foolery and April Fools seem to go hand in hand. Marilyn Monroe sounds kind of bitter. I visited Tokyo as an overnight stopover in 2001 and on Crystal Harmony in 2004. A very momentous day in computer history. I had an Apple 2 and a few IPADs since. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Iced Melon Bisque, Apple, Pear, and Cucumber Salad, Rustic Home-Made Lasagna, and Vanilla Ice Cream, my first ever dinner on MS Amsterdam April 1, 2014. A very wet day in central Maryland which will not be good for my plans but even worse for those trying to clear the Key Bridge. Roy
  6. Love how well you are adapting to a new style of cruising. Cherish that Pole to Pole. Roy
  7. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit. The April Fools maps (no fooling): Roy
  8. A wealth of toots today, well done Nieuw Statendam. Thanks Captain, Dave, Leanne, and fellow addicts. @erewhon I hope your Easter was wonderful. Roy
  9. Just as things were getting good I got buffering and had to reload. Roy
  10. Is that Nieuw Statendam in the distance tooting? Roy
  11. Today's sunrise is from a 2013 Queen Elizabeth transatlantic New York to Southampton. March 31 was a sea day roughly across the pond: Roy

  14. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann,Dixie, and Graham/Father David. Happy Easter to all who celebrate today. Bon Voyage @sailingdutchy. Welcome home @RedneckBob, I'll Celebrate the work of Caesar Chavez, haven't used a Bunsen Burner in decades, and not sure what a Medievalist is. I like the King quote. Have not been to today's port.I hadn't realized Motion Picture codes were that old. I'll pass on the meal My alternative is Chilled Apricot Soup with Snow Egg, Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad, and Mango Blueberry Crisp as served on MS Zaandam March 31, 2017: Off to church early as I am on the AV team and must be sure to get a parking spot. Roy
  15. Wow, that's a big gap. I was expecting it to be one week. Roy
  16. I have a sunset today rather than a sunrise. It's from my 2018 Crystal World Cruise. On March 30 Crystal Symphony visited Easter Island. Roy

  18. Can't believe how late I am getting back today. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. A salute to Doctors, energy saving (I thought we had it recently but a repeat is worthy) but I have no laundry to fold. Hopefully tomorrow. I find the Wilde quote bordering on the offensive. A great day for the US, sad for France but also wonderful for Brazil. I thought I had been to Salvador da Bahia but was mistaken. I've been to Rio several times, Maasdam in 2015, Crystal Serenity in 2017, and Prinsendam in 2019. The meal sounds nice. My alternative is Chilled Apricot Soup with Snow Egg, Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad, and Mango Blueberry Crisp as served on MS Zaandam March 30, 2017: A lot on my table today, church men's breakfast, extra time at firehouse, and a sailaway so I am very late. Roy
