  1. Perhaps copy and paste? Not sure what the email says. Generally if the ship's casino allows room charges, I believe the Reflection does not, that is how you do it. If you purchase promo chips you have to gamble with them
  2. URL not working, perhaps a screenshot and you can block out any personal info
  3. Coincidently I was thinking the same although some have claimed when book airfare with X they offer flights that are a little too close for comfort
  4. While true, like most anything isn't 100% guaranteed, trackers give us travelers the best chance of recovering lost baggage by simply just knowing if it's still on the ship, in the terminal or at someone's residence. I average around 30 flights a year and only hear good things about trackers specifically when airlines were losing baggage en mass. On the travel forums like flyertalk and reddit, there are countless success stories like this below:
  5. As soon as I sell my NFT of oceanfront property in Arizona, I'm in!
  6. Since once you receive the email it's already cancelled, I don't consider that a warning. Glad you were able to get something booked
  7. A cab should be metered and cost around $15/ride + tip but they often lie and tell you it's fixed at $20. For that reason I prefer uber/lyft. No reason to take an X transfer and since you're arriving fairly late I'm not sure if its even an option; depending if one is receiving a pre-sail discount, the transfer sounds like it'll at least be at least $45 for a couple:
  8. So you booked and paid for a tour for around $160 for two? Typically when X needs to cancel a tour it just does so without warning; they'll send you an email and a full refund
  9. While some promotors touted "it supports local artists" it was really never about the artwork, it was a virtual investment entity riding on the coattails of virtual crypto currency. NFT's saw massive gains but it didn't last for long and it crashed hard. Fun fact, the most expensive NFT transaction was sold for $69.3 Million
  10. Rules allow you to purchase booze at ports of call hence why they staff an alcohol desk. You're able to carry on non-alcoholic sodas while in ports and do not need to surrender them X's FAQs have been changing quite a bit lately, it currently states: " Alcoholic beverages that are purchased from onboard shops or in ports of call (which must be presented to security upon re-boarding), will be secured by ship's personnel. Alcohol secured by ship's personnel will be returned to guests just prior to the conclusion of their cruise vacation."
  11. Once it's initially setup you do not need data, just bluetooth
  12. It's about knowing if the bag is somewhere on the ship or is back in the terminal. GS standard operating procedure seems to be "don't worry, I'm sure it'll show up any minute now".
  13. Some people don't like to hear to dress in "layers"...
  14. The textbook definition of a "pump and dump" scheme
  15. They're called "Galaxy SmartTags", apple air tags won't work on droids
  16. They usually take between a week or two for me, hoping their response time has improved
  17. Personally never seen them stick their hands out but often its just their tip-fishing-attitude that rubs me the wrong way. A recent Port Everglades interaction we had went something like this, Porter: "Need help with your bags? Great, I'll take REAL GOOD care of your bags...Where are you fine folks coming from, WOW!!!! California? That's a LONG way from here but don't worry, we take care of our out of towners here" The conversation couldn't have been more pointless...lol
  18. Yes and I did live in the Deep South (GA) for five years. Dragging luggage before 9am won’t be that bad
  19. Thanks for the review, will be doing a simular sailing next year
  20. That is simply a notification, you can slide it to the left, select options, and can mute them for an hour, the whole day or turn them off entirely. If you mute/turn-off, they still work you just no longer receive notifications. Can still open the "Find My" app and see where things are
  21. And we should add VV has much greater food selection and is available during longer hours
  22. Was a super risky investment...The NFT promoted by X is still for sale at about $4,170
  23. Fascinating, X's third party lost item form asks if you have airtags/tracking
  24. Just get airtags or something simular as it covers all travel not just cruising. X has screwed up on my first sailing with them in 2019 by for whatever reason leaving the bag on the ship for another sailing. I took a pic of it out in the hallway mainly because I realized I didn't have a pic of the bag. When you contact X with a missing bag claim it's handled by a third party, when I dealt with them they could care less about my picture. Not sure if having a photo with baggage and porter would change anything. At that time X's standard compensation for lost luggage "as good will" was either $250 or $300.
