    The Pride was/is scheduled to replace the Legend when the Legend goes into drydock in late April. I'd bet my entire pension on the Baltimore Cruise Terminal not being open by then.

    Any word on what they're doing when the Pride replaces the Legend? Will they sail it out of Norfolk or just reassign the Pride somewhere else altogether?

    The one that killed 2 engineers on the Nieuw Amsterdam while it was anchored off Half Moon Cay on Friday.

    Just returned to Baltimore under that bridge on Sunday aboard the Legend. Was also in Half Moon Cay the day before the accident on Nieuw Amsterdam. Eerie.

    I just read a notice from my FB group that the Legend lost power off the NC coast. They got the power back but the ship wasn't moving. Anybody else hear or read anything regarding this? I'm hopefully on the next week's sailing.

    As Carnival's XL ships exceed 180,000 gross tonnes. You really DO have an uncanny bias.

    Princess (Carnival corp.) has cancelled multiple cruises on several ships, namely the newest Sun Princess. And with RCL selling at over $100/share more than Carnival, it doesn't appear that RCL is any worse off financially than CCL.

    LOL Trust me, RCCL isn't looking to Carnival for inspiration for ship design.

    Carnival Vista is listed as one of the worst ships at space-to-passenger ratios, which means congestion and crowding issues.

    Ugh. That "sports bar" set up is why I'll never book XL class during football season.

    I've said this before, an Oceanview becomes an interior at night time. And at the location they're offering, wouldn't take that offer for free, let alone $400.

    Ok, so you'll be hunkered down at the TVs at the Red Frog tiki bar on Deck 17 (that's where I'd be 🙂) on Monday night. Hopefully, the Bucs will catch the Eagles on their current downhill tunble and knock them out.

    You mentioned that football was shown on the big screen on Sunday. Did you happen to notice if any of the bars/lounges showed football games anywhere else around the ship?
