  1. I believe the suggestion for Ulu knives is to have the seller ship them to you to avoid this situation.
  2. The place to find your fellow cruisers for a tour share is your roll call. You should post there. Since you don't mention which ship, I can't point you there.
  3. The OP never stated the reason for the exemption. I would assume they would only apply if they met the requirements for one.
  4. I was unaware that behind the scenes tours were operating at this time due to Covid restrictions on guests going to crew areas.
  5. First off, make sure that tour is actually running. If it is, it will be 100% by bus, and you will need the ArriveCAN application filled out to cross the border.
  6. I'm sure that if someone onboard feels like posting a live from, they will.
  7. It surprises me that anyone would consider wandering around a foreign country without some form of photo ID on them.
  8. For the steakhouse, make sure you all book for the same time, then once onboard go see the host(ess) and they will accommodate you.
  9. You will receive your tickets in your cabin. I just take my driver's license for ID. Some ports require a valid ID to admit you.
  10. I had a broken ulna on a cruise, but wasn't in a full cast. Just was careful.
  11. Not a chance. You'd be better to have them ship it to you.
  12. Just note that if there are any excursions you really want, you should just book them. You risk them not being available when you board.
  13. I find that a polite "no thanks" sends them on their way.
  14. No, its staffing issues. The US government is being slow in issuing the visas needed for the crew to return to work. Once the ships are fully staffed up again, these thing are expected to return.
  15. Well, due to current staffing issues, pizza is no longer open from 3am to 8am. Otherwise, its room service.
  16. There was no shuttle from the port to the hotel?
  17. If you are in a suite, your assigned dining is Luminae. Blu is for those in Aqua class. You might be able to eat there if space is available, but you would need to check with the Luminae host. As Murano and Tuscan Grill are specialty restaurants, you should be able to make a reservation and pay the fee to eat there. For breakfast, you can eat in Luminae.
  18. I don't think Port Valet will be an option for you due to your flight time.
  19. I still ended up spending some money (had to get the Mrs a gift since I cruised solo). But other than that, I stayed on the ship.
  20. If you select a guaranteed cabin, you can be placed in any cabin of that category or better. If you have a preference of where your cabin will be, you shouldn't book a guarantee.
  21. I don't really have an answer. However, one thing to note is that most of the river cruise boats are not scooter friendly to begin with.
